Good timing, I’ve been looking at the 0640 for a while now, this version made me pull the trigger, now my 0452wbw has a baby brother lol and thanks to USA made for having them in stock !

I really like that bronze one you have. Has a lot more character than the black washed one they released IMOOnce the BW arrived I was planning to sell mine that they bronze anodized and installed LMF scales but I’ll probably think on that for a while. It is a nice one.

I’m not too crazy about the scales on the 0640BW. I’m really hoping to see some red micarta scales available so it would look similar to my Hinderer Full Track.

So would a lot of people. If ZT is smart they are working on a full ti 0452BW and a Version of the 0308 in magnacut as we speak…. Fingers crossed.
Oh yeah, how about giving us a Bowie, a Wharncliffe and a Tanto option for the 0393GL?!? ..:Since the price is now bonkers on those ($340 most places), just charge whatever u want and give us the options like RHK.

Everytime I sit back, smile, and gawk in awe over my 450ti and 562ti with taco bearings and full xxxadrenalinxxx titanium parts swap out, I think to myself... how the hell am I going to get a 452ti.

Yup! Back in 2016-2017, all that mattered was that it had “M390” on the blade lolThe Ti model was mostly over looked because it didn't have the same M390 as the other sprints. It and the contoured G10 rose gold model were my favorites, but the standard CF model is damn near perfect IMO, and the only one I've kept.
Never mind that the titanium version was actually like $12 cheaper (208 vs 220) and more solid feeling, but that CFBLUM390 is where it’s at! Those came and went literally a few months before I started getting serious about knives (same with the 0392s), damn I wish I had a time machine lol

I've tried begging every ti scale maker I can find to make a ti scale for the 452 so I can just buy a 452cf, swap it out and fricken get on with my life.

I know I have another pic or two of the 0452ti from when I owned it, but can't locate them. The internal milling was impressive, and really kept the weight similar to the CF model. I'd really like to see something between the 0450, which is too small for my hand, and the 0452, which is just rather larger than I want to EDC most of the time.
It's too bad things have been rather stagnant for so long at ZT. China has absolutely saturated the market with EXPENSIVE flippers that ZT could be stealing sales from with some USA made badassery. If we aren't going to see more models from them, at least some more variants of the standbys would be nice, maybe even new blade shapes? I keep hoping for a 0452tiblk in FULL DLC. Even seems like they could bring back the original 0452ti with 20cv and call it different enough for production along side the 0562ti.

I am a long time zt supporter and will continue to be so, but I can't help but feel like zt just doesn't want to make money anymore. We are all begging for new knives and it seems like it falls on deaf ears. Sure there have been some fss models this year but it seemed like they were very limited production based on how fast they were gone.

That would be awesome! My dream 0452 would be a full ti in Blackwash with either Magnacut, S45VN, or M4….just something different from the usual S35/20cv they put out…
Maybe the new 0006 fixed blade is a sign of good things to come, seeing as people have been literally begging ZT for another fixed blade….
AND, they did it in 3V, which I’m not sure they ever used before (they used V4E, a while back)… so that is enough to give me some hope for ZT in 2023, because when it comes down to it, I have more ZTs than anything else in my collection (and probably spent Over $10k with them in the last 4-5 years)
Edit: they pop up on the exchange sometimes (the 0452ti)….maybe you could send the scales out to be DLC’d? I actually thought about it, but decided to take the $250 or so from selling it, instead of dumping another $250 into it for customization…but I have another ti and a blue ti also, that will hopefully be buried with me when I die
The 0452 is the knife that got me hooked and I most likely wouldn’t be in this
hobby if it wasn’t for that knife! Lol

I love my 0452ti….though it is a safe queen. I really want a blackwashed 0562ti, but I’ve lost faith in ZT over the last few years.

ZT straight needs to come out with some limited runs on these old favorites. Maybe run an online poll with voting or something. I don't understand their current marketing or profit strategy.
I get that they have their bread and butter knives they sell all day every day, but they'd literally sell every one of certain ones if they wanted too. To say they're "out of touch" isn't even accurate I don't think. They are intentionally against new efforts and designs that don't suck. How does that happen? Is Kershaw really the face of KAI now? I sure wish we had a forum member who was close to KAI that could talk about the reasons behind their change in direction.
