I like the snappy assisted ones fine like a current 0566CF… I have another lazy G10 0566 spring… I need to remove it.

I appear to have spoken too soon, it appears the place I was thinking of didn't make it. A shame. Nothing else jumps out when I did a search either. Ah well.

Have you tried loosening the pivot? Obviously you don’t want blade play, but IIRC they have some “wiggle room” with how tight you can run the pivot, and the tighter it is the less snappy it will make the action.

Does the big shooting enthusiast earth in O-town carry ZT? Ours in Tampa does, but the prices are usually higher than I wanna pay.

Here's a 0095S90VBLK KVT -- a 0095 with S90V steel, all blacked out in DLC, even the Ti handle. Very comfortable in the hand, and the action is snappy.

took me a minute to figure out where ya were talkin bout. got it now. never been to either of those locations. I'm thinking super high priced guns, ammo and other gear......and I'm close to right or way off.....

I shoot at the one in Tampa frequently, and do like the range, but I don’t actually buy stuff there. They do have quite an impressive selection of new and used guns, but their prices do seem to be indicative of their overhead. It’s definitely a good place to look at a lot of stuff in one spot. As far as knives, I know they have a fair selection of BM and ZT, but expect nothing less than MSRP.

yeah I realized on doing a website hunt they were big indoor shooting range, that also sells stuff. see case online doesn't seem too much out of line. not sure if they stock that at local stores?

renting and shooting full auto stuff looks fun. might need to try that one day.

i've never been or paid attention to it as I like to shoot outside. I don't mind indoor ranges if run well and safe.

Yes many ZT models come and gone since 2006.

The one you have is actually model 0095S90BLK not 0095S90VBLK. It’s quite a slicer.

LOL. Thanks for the correction. When my eyes see S90, the autocorrect in my mind always adds the V. As it should.
 
Kershaw surely starts to step in ZT territory with this designs and price point (Kershaw Covalent & Bel Air with tiger stripe pattern).
Has anyone handled one of the high-end Covalent models? Thoughts?

Added the new 0203 with 4” CPM-M4 blade, G-10 and DuraLock (Crossbar) which is a first in a ZT.

I've got a 0055. Added to my collection because I like its size, design & front flipper action which is unique among ZT's knives.
