Zero Tolerance Current/Upcoming/Discontinued Models

Does anyone have pics they can post of the 452TI both Blue and Plain? I am wondering if the blue is stonewashed as well.... I am going to pick one up I just don't know which one.

ZT erroneously announced in a Facebook post the 0301 and 0302 were back in limited production and were hitting retailers. Facebook collectively creamed itself at the thought of new 0302s.

Then a day later ZT came back and made the correction, changing 0302 to 0303, which figures since 0303s were the first to hit retailers.

More importantly they stated the 0302 wasn't coming back, or they had no plans to bring them back even on a limited basis, which is kind of a bummer.

I agree. These two are competing for the ugliest ZT ever. The blade profile, especially that of 0055, looks of little practical use. Won't be surprised if 0055 is discontinued soon.

I thought the 0850 was ugly, too, but it kind of grew on me. The 0055 is unique, but I don't think that GTC design is the most aesthetically pleasing, to be sure. But the 0427 started at the top of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

Ha! I love the looks of the 0427...I have little use for a 6 oz 4.2” folder though. The 0850 was right up my alley. “Different grinds,” I guess.

I really like the SLT opener. It doesn't add to the action but it doesn't detract from it either. The 0055 flips smartly like many other ZTs. What I like is how it visually tucks away. Makes for a sleeker profile. Of course, the 0055 is not otherwise all that sleek. I decided to send mine to Josh at REK for a little REKtification to the production blade. I'm hopeful that with his help I can get a knife that both looks and cuts better.

i have the blue 0452. didnt take any pics, can say this on anodized titanium....your hand print of sweat and oils etc change the color until cleaned. mines a kinda purplish tinted muted blue after handling. i clean it properly and gently to not harm the anodizing coat and its back to brilliant blue, that is until i hold it again.

If it is not too much trouble, can you take some pics to show what you are talking about? Also is it stone washed as well? Thanks.

I don't think this model could be made better than its original cf and ti (other than adding a different super steel). Not a fan of the g10 version. But this new ti version is neat. I got in on a raffle on one. Hope I win to see what these new ones are about. Zt don't really mill out titanium liners so this is good to see it happening at least on a few models now.

the lighting washes out the blue but there is a spot you can see where its the dark blue and the rest is hand grime dulling it and making it purplish. it cleans up bright blue until i touch it again.15094115631051246637444.jpg

added second pic with better lighting to show the blue better. first pic washed way too much out, but showed the purplish hand marks well enough to get an idea.
