Actually just sold mine for that reason .
The grip was a little thin for my liking but what a beautiful blade !!

It's a shame really. But I can be happy for people who were hoping for a smaller ZT. I'm sure with 9 months left in the year we'll get some more good large stuff.

No doubt on all points “ no punt intended “ LoL
A bigger version of the 0609 I’d be all over it . I like some smaller knives but there’s a few others that feel much better in my hand :thumbsup:

My dream version would be a 4 inch blade, with a Sub Framelock like the 0850 in carbon fiber, satin blade and maybe marble CF, bronze hardware and a milled clip. *drools*
 
I'll be buying an 0609 once the market dust settles...still hoping for an all black sprint, black anodized Ti and a DLC blade....huuuungggg :eek:

I like both the Anthem and the ZT 0609 , but if I'm not mistaken the Anthem is going for just over $400 , while the 0609 is about
$ 200 less . Both knives have the CPM 20CV steel , and from what I've read , both are very good quality .
Given that - as much as I have always liked Benchmade - being the 0609 is roughly half the price , the decision is easy !

I think they did BLK versions of almost every knife, So you might want to consider just waiting for the BLK version. Alternatively you could find somebody to ceracote the knife for you black. I think Josh / REK does that.

Yea I'm waiting...cerakote on knives is crap, Benchmade and Emerson use it and the durability is a joke...DLC on the other hand is incredibly durable.
 
Bad typing - sorry . Yeah Cerakote doesn't hold up - definitely talk to Josh @ REK . He'll lead you in the right direction with a different coating .

That's kinda weird to me. But I guess they are getting rid of old S35VN Stock. (Also I hate exclusive sprint runs. :( I really wanted a 0452Ti but I am not dealing with customs/importing anymore)
 
Man I've been hoping for a 0609BLK! How do I get one? The change of steel is disappointing, but not really a deal breaker depending on price.
