my LGS had a 393 on display, and I ALMOST pulled the trigger. Gorgeous knife with fantastic lock up. I wasn't too jazzed about the grip on it, and it felt too "nice" to pocket carry. I have several lovely ZTs for light carry. I also have several for hard use. I was more in the market for a knife that didn't need to be a dirt digging 350 yet not as fancy as my 850. So, I passed on the 393.
Yesterday I went back in, and low and behold they had a 462 that they had just got in that day sitting in the case
My kind of knife. I found the 460, like the 450, to be just a tad small for my liking. I prefer a larger folder. I ultimately gave my 450 to my little brother, and he LOVES it. The 462 is everything I wanted in the 460 and more. Larger, fast, light, and deceptively robust despite how pocket friendly it is with it's lower weight and slim profile. It really bridges the gap for me between a gentleman's knife and a work beater.
I love the more subtle branding (although I could do without the billboard of text on the non-show side of the blade, but that is just a ZT thing). The CF feels great in hand, and the milled titanium slab keeps the weight down to such a degree that you almost forget that the 462 is a tad thicker than the "tank" of a 350.
Fantastic knife, and my favorite 2018 ZT by a good margin.
