I want a non AO 0566. I love my 0562cf but would also love something smaller, aka 0566.

I’ve often wondered this exact thing. And what is acceptable profit/ROI on any given knife to keep it in production vs killing it?

As long as they are selling the price must be right. wouldnt take much of a cut for the designer to be happy when you consider the scale of quantity the big production companies can pump out.

But, some people would say that ZT makes a better Hinderer than Hinderer makes a Hinderer. I’ve held many a Hinderer and to me the jump in price wasn’t worth it. My favorite knife maker ZT has collaborated with it Sinkevich. The 0450 & 0452 are beautiful knives. The 0456cf is how that knife should have been produced off the bat by ZT.

They are discontinuing the ZT Anso 0220 and blowing them out at less than $170.00. I received mine the other day, and yes. It is built like a tank. I really love it!

All you have to do to make an 0566 manual is to remove the spring. That's what I did.

The 0566 is as small as I'd like for a ZT. I made the mistake of buying a few that are smaller but if you want a Hinderer smaller than an 0566, currently your only choice would be to buy an XM-18 3.0.

I've got one of those too but it's too small for me and I'm planning to sell it along w/an 0450 and 0900 because I think they are too small as well.

yeah the logo and the blade shape kept me away.. id rather have a 0562 if im going that way

Well it may say it on the blade but it won’t be it

But it will most definitely glow in the dark

How is the detent strength? I've heard mixed results about the detent strength. Most every AO I've de-springed, have been worthless without the spring, but I have not done my 0566BW or 0566CF.

Yeah, not a huge fan of modifying a stock knife by removing the spring. I'm well aware of the modification and I've heard both sides, some say it's fine some say they regret it. Oh well, I've got my 0562cf and 0450cf.

Let me know about that XM-18 3.0 if you decide to sell. I've had my eyes on a new Gen 6 with the tri-way for a while.
