Zero Tolerance: Does that weight bother anybody?

My 0350 never bothered me when I carried it before it found a new home. In fact, I often checked my pockets to see if it was still there.

I carried the 200KW for quite a while. The weight didn't bother me a lot, but you definitely know you have it on you.
Recently switched to a 350KW which is certainly an easier carry.

I don't tend to use clips, but I will agree the one's on the ZTs are pretty awful. Kind of surprising considering how that got most everything else right.

Just some useless information. The listed weight of the 0350 is incorrect actually 5.8 ounces according to my kitchen scale.

I looked at one, and found it too large for edc. Weight wasnt so much an issue, but more the bulk factor. I like large blades, and always carry a large sebenza sized blade. My main carries are my lg seb 21, emerson a100, bm 710 and spyderco para.

I don't see what's wrong with the pocket clip--I love it--small, discreet, holds a lot of jean/pants material in, simple, and the tension on mine have all been perfect!

ZT's weight is not an issue for me.

I have/carry an 0610ST, 0400, 0500, and an 0150.

We're talking less than half a pound, doesn't matter much unless you're wearing very loose pants, the weight is negligible.

I generally don't care about the weight of a knife whatsoever, but the sheer bulk of the ZT knives has kept me from buying. That, and the recurve.

I disagree, with dress pants and having it clipped to your pocket youre going to get a lot of movement and when movement is added to weight you get momentum and that is no beuno for me.

I will most certainly not change my clothes to accommodate a folder when I can get something else that weighs half as much and imo is just as tough. But Im willing to pay up to do it so maybe some people would rather pay the weight and bulk instead of money, and that's cool too.

I think its safe to say the weight bothers some people and not others.

I personally own a 0302, 0500 and 0121. I love them all. That being said no, I don't edc any of them on a daily basis. I choose the knife I carry based on what I think I'm going to be doing for the day. When I feel like I'm going to be doing some tasks that require some heavy cutting I bring either the 0302 or 0500 or I carry them just because I feel like it. Thats me.

Thanks for the input thus far everybody. I want to buy one for the fact that they look badass, but I generally only try to collect knives that I see as really functional. I figure these might make a good camping/survival knife, no?

I got a 0301. It is heavier then it needs to be. I think they could have done away with the liner on the g10 side, but It carries good in the pocket. If you are wearing thicker pants like jeans or kakhis then it won't be a problem. Thinner summer clothes might be a problem. I for one like the tight clip. It is a great knife overall. I traded my 710 a while ago and have been thinking about trading the ZT for another 710

You shouldn't have much trouble doing that. If I had a 710 I'd do it in a heartbeat and toss in a couple of Snickers to seal the deal.

:D

Make it 3 Mr. Goodbars and we got a deal.:D

I wouldn't be straight up of course and I could use the money for a custom I am saving up for.

My Scrapyard SOD or Kabar/Becker BK2 are heavier, and I don't notice them at all on my belt.

I usually EDC my ZT0200 and one of the above fixed blades.
