Anyone verify that the 0562CF is going to be M390? Text description says M390 but Spec sheet says Elmax. Seems odd if it's going to be M390 and CF that it's $20 cheaper MSRP than a standard 0560 is. I see they also list them as being in stock on their website.

The in stock status on the ZT website has never really been right and I've visited often the past year.

Here's data on the ZT 0562CF from another thread with images from seemingly the 2014 Catalog:

It's M390 but remember everything is subject to change. These are prototypes.

The 0562 is cheaper because it does not have all of the crazy 3D machining that the 0560 has. That's where the majority of the cost is.

considering a 0180 as a 1st fixed blade...not 100% sure, but I like the specs and style much more than the 0100, will need to do some research into the steel as it's a new one to me.

M390 is good news, the only other thing I hope is that the CF slabs they use have some real grip texture to them instead of the smooth version the 0560CBCF has.

Both 0562 & 0562CF will give the Spyderco Southard a real run for its money.

Personally, I hope that the detent in them is more like the 0801 and not 0560/0561.

I'm hoping the same thing. I love the CF texture on my ZT0777.

Stoked about the 562CF and 620CF. Love to see Emerson work with ZT/Kershaw. They also have a bunch of budget friendly Emerson colab's coming out. Leave it to Kershaw/ZT to steel the show. Pun intended.

From previous announcements we still have a few to look forward to in the market: 0888MAX, 0770CF, 0801CF and 0454. I have preorders on all with the 0888MAX prepaid. Personally, I'd like to see a 0454-M390 as well since it'll look great!

If their web page is current it looks like they dropped the AL handled 0770. I'm still suspect of the 0562CF being M390 and carbon fiber at only $300, that's only a $50 upcharge for M390 and CF, if so that's amazing, it's going to sell like crazy. I can't imagine too many people choosing Elmax/G10 over M390/CF for only a $50 savings. The 0770/0770CF had that much MSRP increase just for CF. ZT is really going after it, their new offerings are a lot more impressive to me than the new Spyderco/BM stuff that's been released.

The 0770 originally was supposed to be just the aluminum model as regular production. However, before its release they decided to make the 0770CF regular production and the 0770 aluminum limited production.

I stand corrected! I had just figured that since the 0770CF has so far been unavailable that aluminum version was regular production, my bad

I'm a new member to the forum and I would appreciate it if someone told me how to start a poll. I just started a thread and I couldn't find it.

0620CF for this guy! I have wanted an Emerson but certain things were holding me back. this may solve those!

Right now I just wish they made a Ti 0200, with a thumbstud stop pin, and no re-curve.
The 0560 does everything right except being a little small, my index finger feels like it's coiling in on itself a little when I hammer grip it, which technically means I should be looking at the 0300, just no re-curve.
In the meantime I my NMFSHCG will fit the bill.

OMG...looking at the 562 and the 620...i may end up getting both since they are both lefty friendly...w00t!
