Zero Tolerance

I have been EDC'ing my 0909 a lot and I love it. Some may find it too heavy, but honestly, don't notice it. It's a great knife and flips well.

I've got about 20 ZTs. The ones I carry are the 0562, 0900, 0450, 0808, 0095, and 0909. Of those my favorites are 0450, 0900, 0562 (0909 close second). There are many good choices.

I do love the 0909. It's my go to work around the house knife. I've never been concerned about knife weight but it's super comfortable and easy to use.

I like am all! Maybe that's why I am broke.lol Carrying a 909 right now. Like it a lot.

A question for everyone carrying the 0909: Do you find the liner lock bit difficult to disengage?
I don't have any issues when using two hands but when trying to close it with one hand I find that sometimes it's difficult and I have to make few attempts to move it out of the way of the blade tang. I've found that I need to ensure I push it straight into the scale. If I put any downward pressure it won't clear the tang. It's not a big deal at all, just something I noticed and wondered if anyone else had. I have no such issue with any of my other liner locks but the lock on the 0909 is stout. I will say that if you ever felt the Spyderco Gayle Bradley 1 lock was difficult to disengage, try a 0909 for a different perspective.

Never had an issue. I don't ever put downward pressure on a lockbar, I tend to used the edge of my thumb, not the meat and just swipe is straight across. Never had a problem on any knife doing it that way.

Just got a ZT 0562cf. It was one of the finest folders available for any price. The carbon fiber has to be seen in person to understand how nice it is. I have a ZT 0804cf coming in the mail so I may have a new favorite. I have owned the 0303, 0220, 0452cf, and 0350. All great knives. Looking forward to the new manual opener with the blue/black carbon fiber.

For me, the 562/562CF is the most sensible choice. The size, material, and actions, all pretty representative of the ZT brand.... But if you want to be wowed, and have a preference for beautiful things ( while still having all those ZT core values) definitely go for the 452CF.

I carry a 450 as a gentleman's knife even though it can handle anything you can throw at it. It's more robust than you would think.

The 909 is my all around favorite for general work (the assisted 350 is my dirty work knife).

I carry a 630 as a tactical folder.

You really can't go wrong;)

ZT quality is hard to beat. i recommend them all. just pick the one you like the most.

if you dont want assist make sure to get a model without it, for example the zt 0770CF (which btw is a great knife even tho it has assist).

I'll defer to others with more varied experience with ZT's when it comes to suggestions as I only have the 0909 and it's a pretty recent acquisition. Very happy with it so far. I will say usamadeblade was where I ordered mine because Whitty was EXTREMELY helpful with recommendations and I couldn't be happier with the buying experience.

Since the 0909 was mentioned and seems to fit the requirements you gave, here's a pic with an sak for scale.

Late to the party, but my recommendation is absolutely ZT0562CF. If I can only keep one ZT, it would be it. (I have owned 7 ZTs and still have 4 of them).
