Zippos?

.... yet like this last week in which we've pretty much done a week long love-in, my Zippo has had to smoke for two and I still figure I'm filling it up about the same.

I'll decode this as meaning - 'A zippo in the hand is better then two bics in the bush'

We can draw things on it by etching.
I've had such one but lost it.

Anybody knows why zippos can go somewhere so easily?
On the other hand, I've been using the same bic for almost fifteen years....

A zippo is very robust and will take a lot of abuse, and with a butane insert will last for a long time without refill .Step on a Bic and it is usually out of commission.

The OP was about Zippos, Bics are ok but irrelevant to the thread IMHO.
