Zemapeli, it is almost done and I'm kicking myself for not taking more pics; seems like a new firewall went up at work and photobucket is not working for me right now, so I will make a new thread in my off days with some pics. The blade is done, quite sharp and looking like it has decapitated several zombies :D I'm just waiting on a new bandsaw blade to shape, then pin the wood scales. I have a temporary nylon sheath for it (a BK9 sheath might do the trick, don't know where I put my old one, have to dig) but if the options are not satisfactory I'll make a kydex for it.
 
well, mine came in today, HOLY SMOKES what a beast!

Not sure yet exactly what to do with mine....now that I have it in hand its SIGNIFICANTLY more substantial than I had at first assumed it would be....this thing BEGS to be batoned thru wood...seriously, maybe some sort of wharncliffe style BK9 replacement.... a true Seax ......I shoulda bought more than 1.....
 
it's a super froe to be sure; one for every wood stove :D

if there were still on tap monday, i'd have ordered 3-4 or 5 :D
 
it's done, but I may change the handle finish a bit. Will take plenty of pics today and start a new thread tomorrow.
 
I admit I'm a procrastinator. Tomorrow morning!
