Zombie killing knife

I've commented before about this. Looks like a really dangerous tool for the user. Probably designed for "coolness" rather than practicality and safety.

The axe blade is facing you if you need to pry or lever anything with it. What happens if you slip, or the item you're prying gives way? Which direction does this prybar fly and what parts of your body are exposed to an axe blade when it comes flying back at you? Add some darkness, rain or mud...

Really bad design.

On the plus side it seems like a good way to keep a battle-axe in your car, no questions asked. :p

I suppose people preparing for a Zombie Apocalypse deserve something like this. I think a simple prybar would be easy enough to swing.

Heh it reminds me of the lead-filled tire thumper:

I doubt people buy those just for thumping tires :p

I second the Swamp Rat Rucki. Maybe a big Strider fixed blade as a secondary, those things are sharpened crowbars. And everyone knows zombies are allergic to crowbars.

Pretty sure it comes with a sheath/blade cover.

Yeah, this one. Looks flimsy, also looks like it's meant to be removed during prying. You think that'll protect you from a bounced-back axe head flying into your legs, groin, stomach, check, arms, neck or face?

That is a real dumb and unsafe "tool".

Do you think killing Zombies would void your warranty? Also if i got turned into a zombie would my knives still have lifetime waranty or get voided when i turn? Lol

I picked up an old brush knife a few years ago. A four(ish) ft haft with a rusted and notched bill-hook on one side, cleaver on the other. I've sharpened it just enough to be able to cleave a zombie (or give me tetanus when I cut myself) :)

I think that I might get one and make a good, heavy duty cover for the blade shaped to allow use of all the other tools while gaurding the blade. I make similar for my hatches & hawks so that I can safely use the hammer. Simple construction, really.

I'd rather just hide in a tower for a while with a .22 rifle and a ESEE 4. Wonder if the warrantee is still valid in a zombie apocalypse.

My primary zombie 'knife' would be the bayonet which goes on this. Of course, I'll be staying back about 4-500 yards and not need a knife. Mosin FTW!!!

Is that a tactical Waki ? Do you like it well?

I have one, and it's great for what it is. I have completely convexed the blade on mine, and it has very nice balance. No idea how tough it is though

I am replacing it with a Busse AK47 in my SHTF kit
