Zombies Beware!!! AK47 in the house!

You and Hogwash be careful with that thing during your tests. Swords are dangerous. That thing could remove digits pretty easily. I like both you guys
and don't want you to get nicked named "stumpyHog". :D

But have fun!

Just make sure if you lop off a hand, that it is your non dominant hand. Then you can talk the Busse custom shop into making you an InfiHook hand. Man would that be sweet. Nice sharp Infi AK in one hand and an infi hook off hand.

Now there's thinking like a pirate for you! :D

Ban, fantastic work :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

It did 14 water bottles with one cut (and my crummy technique).

It split a 2x4 the hard way.

No limbs were severed but my left forearm has much less hair on it now.

And it splits hairs!

After all of that it has a few minor marks from the wood, the edge still looks perfect.

Ban should have some video up soon.

I use a 2X72 Belt Grinder running a slack belt. I use only premium ceramic belts because they grind smoother and much cooler. I start off with 36grit, 80grit, 120grit, and 320grit belts. Then finish off with coarse, medium, fine, and extra fine scotch brite belts.

Thanks. Sandpaper is taking me a looong time!!

Yep, doing it by hand using sandpaper will surely take a looong time. It already takes me quite a bit of time with a belt sander running at medium slow speed so I can just imagine how long it would take doing it by hand.

Definately start off with as coarse a sandpaper as you can find to initially remove those dimples. 60grit sounds about a good starting point. Do not move on until all those imperfections are first removed with the coarse grit. If you do you will only end up having to go back and redoing it later.

That sir is....... a work of art!

I wouldn't want to be a Zombie in its path.

Were can I buy those ceramic sandbelts?

2X72 ceramic belts can be purchase from any of the online knife supply shops like texas knife, midwestknifesupply, sheffields, etc.....

My favorites are the bright orange Norton Blaze which are quite pricey. Norton Hoggers and the 3M Cubitron are my next favorite. All of them are top notch ceramic belts with the Norton Blaze being the most expensive, fastest, and coolest cutting.

If I remember right... I think the 36grit Blaze belts are close to 12bucks a pop.

Hey Ban,
How would you like to tune up the "Chuckette" ?

WOAH!!!!!:eek: I think I will need to grow a extra set of balls first  LOL! I would be trembling in fear the whole time:o

Isn't the one and only Chuckette already satin?

BTW,

Anyone happen to have pics of that monster Chuckette blade? I have only seen a pic of it still sheath along with a Ruck or AK I think?????

It's Tan with some wear :)
I don't have a shot of it handy or I'd post it.

Found one

That friggin thing is montrous :eek:

It would be a ridiculous chopper if it was convexed and zero edged :eek: ....As if that thing isn't already a superb chopper :D
