Zombies!!

I'd go for an 18" Himalayan Imports M-43 or Ang Khola khukuri along with one of my Busse blades for edged weapons. Same things I'd grab in the event of a natural disaster or other SHTF situation.

Assuming '83 is your birth date, you're really 30 years old and planning for zombies?

You're right...by 30 he should already be prepared for zombies.
I am. :D

Ooh is that bottom blade (two below the Junglas) a smatchet?

Cold Steel Kukri Machete and Becker BK-9, after I run out of ammo and I loose the bayonets on my Moisin Nagants.

The mighty Case Peanut or perhaps the new GEC Pemberton. Decisions decisions.

What about the AG Russell Ultimate Penknife? Since we are talking about an impossible situation, why leave possibilities in reality? By the way, I have discusses the zombie situation with multiple people, and the only possibility is a "Rage virus" type scenario, which is not really zombies, just crazies. There is no way to reanimate a corpse fully and back to full functionality. Even if there was, the zombies would run out of food extremely quickly (notice that they never sleep and always roam? That means they would need a constant intake of calories or else their bodies would consume itself).

That's right, I just brought science to the fight.

I should also actually add to the discussion. I would use a cinderblock with a chain. Or a brick with a rope. It has to be ranged enough to keep you out of splatter, but still do damage. A brick will do plenty of damage, and if it breaks they are just about everywhere.

I would start with this combo in my hands

And these would be strapped on as my backups..

I've never hit a zombie in the skull with an edged weapon but I'd be concerned about getting it wedged in there. Probably not likely but there's also the issue of all the zombie blood everywhere. Though I guess if their heart isn't beating there wouldn't be as much in the head. Still, I think I'd prefer a blunt object for zombies backing up some firearms.

The cold steel trailhawk or becker BK9 would be with me because even if I don't use them on the undead they'll be helpful once I get out of the city and into the mountains.

That's a BRK&T Clax. :)

By 30, you should have enough centerfire solutions available to you for any 2-legged critters.

With Canadian storage laws, it'd be quicker to grab a knife, baseball bat, or even a toaster.
Hmmm...what toaster is best for clubbing zombies? :D

Hah! You almost had me, but we all know that Canadians don't play baseball! ;)
