Thanks Cam! The finish is PCB etchant. It just didn't come out as dark on this blade for some reason.

that mod reminds me of a couple of old WW1 trench cleavers I have seen, nice job man.

Could easily see breaking down a side of hog or beef with it besides maiming tree's.
