ZT 0200 Is Such A GREAT Knife I Wonder..........

This is a really cool community. Just want to throw that out there. Nice to see the level of good will among folks here.
...
I agree. Anytime I'm feeling "down in the dumps", all I have to do is log on to BladeForums (and esp. the Kershaw Forum) and I instantly feel better, and lose that "wanting to jump off of a tall building" feeling...

Wow, that's a really nice gesture Joe. Congrats on the score Dann, it will definitely be a special knife.

Way to go Dann! Santa lives in Schenectady! Now, ask your wife for a LARGE supply of bandages, gauze, tape, and a gift certificate from the Emergency Room for Christmas, and you'll be set!

Joe, this is a great gesture from you...I hope you get what you want from the other Santa that lives north of you!

I don't believe any of this would have ever happened if:
1. Kershaw didn't make a great product.
2. Kershaw didn't have terrific customer service.
3. Kershaw didn't have direct involvement at this forum. (thank you Thomas)
4. Joe wasn't one of the most generous, nicest guys I've ever seen.
or
5. Dann wasn't so persistent. haha

This is really something, with all the crap going on in this world
there are still great people doing great things.

Joe, you rock. Dann, you really have made a name for yourself here.
It shows what a good person you are on here.

You got that right! These knives ARE sharp,.......as i mentioned in another post i'm still recovering from a deep pinky wound from 6 days ago from my Spec Bump. Try not to be distracted when using these,........'cause they can bite back.

I can blame the pooch all i want, but she wasn't holding the thing! :o

BTW,.....thanks guys for all the kudos,.......but the important thing is getting Dann to stay away from all bridges! ;)

Now, just how did you know that the '94 Ford Tempo GL that I drive is a piece of junk?.:D.:D.

Joe,

To answer a question that you asked me a few posts ago; Yes, that IS me in my avatar. I took that photo of me myself about a year ago, along-side the apt. building I live in.

I kinda thought so,...............

..........but i'll get you the knife anyway! :D:D:D

OK Dann,.....just wanted to let you know the bird is in the air! You'll have to let us know when the eagle has landed,........"hopefully" by tomorrow.

The reason i say "hopefully" is because you must be out in the sticks somewhere,......as my Express Mail reciept shows a 2 day by 3:00PM guarenteed delivery. Since the 2nd day would be turkey day,......it could concievably arrive on Friday the latest,......which would be a real bummer i know. :(

I will offer a word of encouragement, however. The post office likes to cover their arse,:jerkit: and not have to refund the postage if they miss the guarentee times. So on less traveled routes they opt to make an Express Mail delivery 2 days instead of 1 day,.....

........BUT,........it has been my experience that the package most often arrives in a single day anyway. They just don't want to guarentee it! Because the 2nd day would be a day they're not working (thanksgiving),.....that could concievably push it out to friday.

Anyway,.....the USPS tracking number is: EB47 9237 571U S

BTW,.....the number will probably not show up in their system until later tonight.

Hopefully Dann will be able to carve his bird with a ZT 0200 on thursday!:D

Joe,

Thank-You!! I'll let you (and the Kershaw Forum) know right-away when I receive the ZT 0200 that you so graciously sent to me. I humbly wish you & your family the VERY BEST Thanksgiving Holiday! Even if your gift to me doesn't make it here 'till Friday (or later), at-least I know that the knife that I've been wanting for quite awhile will finally be mine. Thank-You!!...

Joe,

I also checked the USPS "tracking" earlier this morning and noticed that the package is on it's way here from Seattle at about 6:30am, so I called my local Post Office a few minutes ago, and the guy that I spoke with didn't think that I'd receive it 'till Friday. I'm hoping that he's wrong, but even if I don't receive it 'till Friday, that will still be good, as I'm just happy and very thankfull to be receiving a ZT 0200 at-all.

I will be home all-day Friday (as well as 'till about 1:30pm tomorrow, just in-case), so I will be home to sign for it myself if it doesn't make it here to Aberdeen today for my wife to sign for it.

I WILL let you (& the Kershaw forum) know right-away when it arrives.

Thank-You again for your kindness, and have a GREAT Thanksgiving Holiday!...

Dann,....it's now left Olympia and the zip is close to yours (98501),.......

....on the off chance the next leg is real close to you,.....you might call again and see if you might be able to pick it up if it's gonna sit in house from here thru friday.

...then again,.....maybe you won't mind waiting to friday! :D

Joe,

Well, I called "Brad" at my local Post Office a few minutes ago, and it looks like eventho the "tracking" says that the package left Olympia (60 miles from here), it is still in Olympia and that it's not scheduled for delivery 'till Friday. Damn slow Postal "Service"...:grumpy:.

But on the bright side, since I won't receive it 'till AFTER Thanksgiving, I won't have a chance to dirty-up my new ZT 0200 with turkey "stuff".:D.

I just want to pipe in here, from out in left field, to say that the Kershaw forum is truly a great thing the members here are always civil even when they are not of the same opinion. No on to glockman99 his praise of the zdp mini-cyclone is the sole reason I bought one and I am totally happy with it,money well spent.
Enjoy the ZT 0200 99.
