ZT 0200 Is Such A GREAT Knife I Wonder..........

I don't believe any of this would have ever happened if:
1. Kershaw didn't make a great product.
2. Kershaw didn't have terrific customer service.
3. Kershaw didn't have direct involvement at this forum. (thank you Thomas)
4. Joe wasn't one of the most generous, nicest guys I've ever seen.
or
5. Dann wasn't so persistent. haha

This is really something, with all the crap going on in this world
there are still great people doing great things.

Joe, you rock. Dann, you really have made a name for yourself here.
It shows what a good person you are on here.

mike

Very well said Mike.

Joe, you really do rock and Dann really is a 1st class act.
Congrats on the knive G-Man. For all that you do here, you
indeed deserve the fortunes sent your way. :)

I hope that one day my financial situation is good enough to just give away awesome knives to total strangers! :)

It is a great feeling to see the reaction when giving such great knives
away. I haven't given to total stangers but I have 2 very happy friends
and 2 very happy family members.

Hi Thomas,.....thanks,.....but i've found in life the "giver" often enjoys the transaction more than the "givee". I think i'm more bumbed out than Dann that the post office can't get express mail to every part of the continental US in one day.....

........of course you have to live near a decent population base! Must be the Glockman truly lives out in the sticks.:D

It's also very nice to see all the effort that you and the Kershaw company go thru in support of your products and customers! 1st Class all the way!

Not wanting to bum Dann out any more than he might already be,......but i did get the shipment in today where i work (Albany, NY),.... for (10) ZT 0200 and (5) XT 0200ST knives.

The seller to me didn't have enough on hand,....and Kershaw expediated the drop shipment from you direct to me via 2-day UPS. Great job as i'd expect from Kershaw!

I was so impressed with the overall quality of this model that i wanted a few for gifts, and to make sure i'm covered for the rest of my life! ;) (just in case you change or discontinue the model). Even have a forum member shipping me 3 more that i committed to before the bigger order was made.

I'm planning on getting a few other models off the Zero Tolerance line for personal use soon,.....and i expect i'll be pleased with those also. Might even need another big drop shipment down the line! ;)

......for the rest of you that haven't tried one yet,........beg the lady of the house to let you spend a couple weeks grocery money on a knife that will last,.... and that you'll be pleased to own, use, and TALK about.

Kershaw likes that! :D

Real cool thread. Very generous of you Joe!!

Joe,

Yah, I am sort of out "in the sticks", near the Pacific coast, about 110 miles WSW of Seattle, WA. The darn thing is that I've had "regular" USPS Priority Mail packages arrive in just 2 days that were sent to me from New York. I'm sorry that you paid extra for "Express" Mail delivery that's turned out to be regular Priority Mail...But I do know "where your heart is", and I'll say that it's a very good, very caring heart that you have. If more folks were as caring & generous as you are, this would be a much better World to live in.

Anyhow, enough rambling...I'll let you know the minute that the ZT 0200 arrives.

---Dann (glockman99)

Hey Thomas,.....just realized that sounded pretty good,......and if you and Kershaw care to use it in ads be my guest! (no charge!)

Here it is again:

"Buy a knife you'll be pleased to own,....use,..... and TALK about.

.......Kershaw likes that!"

OK Dann,.....in spite of the fact that i had actually thought of surprising you with a ZT 0200 before your last post,.........i have decided to submit one to you for careful and lifelong evaluation! :D

In other words,.....one will be sent your way to enjoy and use (OK,.....actually own!) just as soon as i recieve them,.......hopefully by wednesday of this week as i ordered them with 2 day shipping. I'm figuring it may take them a day to process the order and i'll get your's out the same day i recieve it.

Wow, now that was cool of you. If you ever decide on ordering a dozen 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R motorcycles I would be willing give one of them a long term evaluation for you also.:D Knives, knives....oh ya, Kershaw knives.

I'm reading through this thread for the first time and what strikes me is that this is not just a simple, 'get rid of the irritation', act of charity. This is a gift from the heart. I'm impressed joejeweller, nice one. My wife made a similar comment when we visited a local gunshop and, with the current firearm licencing laws here (South Africa) the gunshops are really well stocked with good knives, she chatted with a few of the guys. KNIFERS ARE THE NICEST, MOST STRAIGHT-UP PEOPLE YOU WILL MEET!

Oh, yes, received my ZT 0200 about a week back - great knife. I have Spydercos, Benchmades, Cold Steel and more, but this one is truly impressive!!!!

:D:D:D,.......nope,......don't like crotch rockets. I have an '04 BMW R1150R and a very low mileage '82 Suzuki GS850 GL that suit me. A parts bike for the Suzuki and a '79 Honda XL500S duel purpose kinda got the garage full right about now.............

Besides,......i don't believe owners of the Ninjas ever get around to a "long term" evaluation. They either trade up in subsequent years,..............

...........or TOTAL the things!

Sure,......make it ever harder for ol Dann to get thru the week! ;)

..........and thanks for your kind works.:o

South Africa,......man,.....now that is a tough continent to live in! Seems perfect to have the ZT 0200 there, though.

It's not getting through the week that's going to be the problem, it's getting through today, wanting that ZT 0200 so badly, that I SHOULD receive tomorrow (Friday).:D.:D...Eventho today is a day of joy, family, & a time to truely give thanks for what we have, I still know that my mind is going to be preoccupied, thinking about that ZT 0200, sitting at the Olympia Post Office, rather in my hand...But then, tomorrow really isn't all that far away.:).

My wish to you and your family is for the BEST Thanksgiving Holiday EVER...You have alot of good "Karma" built up from me to you...

Thanks Dann,.....right back out to you & yours!

My girl and i are going to grab a turkey dinner at the very excellent "Golden Coral" buffet that's just a mile from my digs. It's just not worth cooking a bird for the 2 of us,.......

..............then off to see a movie,......"The Mist".

...........and maybe tonight i'll get my special thanksgiving day "treat" before i go to bed! ;)

You'll get thru today,.....toss & turn tonight, .........be distracted at work tomorrow,.......& come home to a new friend.

Sometimes i feel like a wino waiting for my next knife,...................can't wait for my next fix! And when we have to wait too long,.........we get the "DT's",.....

................or in your case,.......the "ZT"s! :D

Have a great day,........

What you are doing Joe is totally awesome. You are truly practicing the maxim of "it is better to give than receive." Although receiving is nothing to sneeze at, especially in this case! I've always read and enjoyed your posts Dann, and I cannot imagine a more deserving person. I'm really happy for you and feel that I'm getting a real blessing from this!

But, I have to say this Glockman, you need to break out those Cyclone boxes, clean up and wipe down each Cyclone, place them in the boxes, be sure to tell them you will see them again..................sometime that is, and then prepare yourself for the "KNIFE"!! Mine is in my pocket as I type, and after I finish typing I'm going to pull mine out and play, stroke, and fondle it, clean it up, and then I'm going to take my ZT0200 out of my pocket and do the same!:jerkit:!!:D

Lucky for me I don't work tomorrow (Friday), so I'll be home to rip open the package with my bare hands, the second that the XT 0200 arrives (that should be in about 13-14 hours from now...It's gonna be a long night.:D.).

you know what's funny... it doesn't even really matter what model this knife is or what it costs. I'm just really happy for you, and excited. I know you'll love it, but I still can't wait to hear about it. To be honest, I've briefly owned a 301 and a 500 (mudd). The ZT line is stellar to begin with, but there is so much positive energy from you two on this model that I may try to save for one just to remember this story behind it every time I use it. Hope you are both having a great holiday!!!!

Don't use your bare hands 99 use your cyclone.Afterwards a light wipe with an oil cloth and proper storage for a while would be proper.

I'm taking bets,........anyone want to bet AGAINST Dann getting a sore spot on his flipping finger(s) by late tonight? :D

........almost here ,....Dann,.......tic....................toc................tic......................toc......................

Dang time moves slow sometimes!;)

Edited to add,..........i take it back,.....these are so smooth,........he's likely to pass out from lack of sleep long before his trigger fingers get sore.

.......ah hell,........his wife is gonna tell him eventually to put that thing away! (the knife!):D

You would think he would have some pretty serious calluses on that finger from his Cyclones by now. On the other hand, the ZT0200 sounds so nice, I wouldn't be too surprised if he wore through it. (Or do you think he'd have accidentally cut the callus off by now?)

BTW, I'm a little late in saying it, but thank you, its a very nice thing you've done for Dann!
