ZT 0200 owners...

I don't have issues with the G10, it's the strength of that pocket clip pinching my pocket rim when I pull it out! I may have to bend that clip out a bit.

Screwdriver, you need to smile in your pictures. Man you own a ZT200!

Both the 0200 and the 0350 I replaced it with have super-tight clips. I carry the 0350 in the small side pocket of my cargo pants because it is too hard to clip/unclip from my pocket without eating up the fabric. I'd like to find a low-rider clip for it but until then will try to figure out a work-around. I was thinking of maybe using a very thin metal spacer between the clip and handle, or bending the clip up a tad.

try bending the clip just a super small tad the g10 should wear out the pockets iv done it with my zt0200 and 0303

I use this for belt carry and and only small knifes for pocket carry.

To all of those having problems with "shredded pockets" --

Take a flathead screwdriver, bend the clip out slightly.

Use sandpaper under the pocket clip.

Problem solved; net time from you? 5 min max.

The texturing is fine, the clip insert would just be another part to machine, tool, and account for F&F (And they'd have to put it on both sides) It would not look as nice as it does now either since it'd have to be on both sides.

You could switch out the pocket clip for one of Gavin Hawks' custom ZT clips. They're designed to let you release the clip before pulling the knife out of your pocket.

Here is one on my 0551 -

I haven't been using it long enough to know if it really reduces pocket shredding, though.

+1 on Gavin Hawk's Grip Clips!

I've been using the version for the RAM for quite some time now and it has made a huge difference. I have the new version he designed for ZT's on my 0650 and my Breakout. Hell of a lot easier to get the knives clipped to loose cargo pockets.
And you don't have to worry about irreversible mods to your scales.

You are not a knife nut unless every pair of jeans and shorts have shred marks on your strong side.

Damn near half of my collection eats my pockets in some way or another.

And your not a SD advocate unless your weak shows more wear and tear...the knife should be a retention device is SD situations in most cases...reserve the strong side for the hardware least used but most appreciated.

I forgot to post some pics of the G&G Hawk (aka blademaker) clip. It's cool but still a bit stiff and rides too high for my taste so I'm still looking for an alternate low-rider clip.

Might I offer two methods that might work, one is to attach some cloth tape to the area of G10 under direct contact with the pocket clip (the bowed part).

Second is to unscrew the clip and attach cloth tape to the main flat area of pocket clip (can be time-consuming with some low-ride clips such as Fallkniven PXL). These two methods might help in the reduction of wear on the pocket from the pocket clip side of folding knife.
