Hey all, I'm new to the forums but no much to knives in general. Had a quick question regarding the Zero Tolerance 0300. It caught my eye about a week ago, and I'm between it and the 0350. Right now I'm carrying a Benchmade Rift 950, and it's the biggest EDC knife I've had yet. I'm wondering if the 0300 would be TOO big. I say this because it's double the weight of my Rift and around 1" longer when closed. I don't mind carrying a bigger knife so I don't think it would be a big problem. I was just wanting to get a few different opinions on what you guys think on size comparison when it comes to EDC-ing a 0300.

I love my 0350, but I don't think anything bigger would be practical for my EDC purposes.

It is too big for me, too large in my pocket but it may not be for you. For me the 0550 is about as large as I prefer to go. I think the 0350 is a more usable/carryable (I am sure that's not a word) size. JMO

My 301's size didn't bug me for a long time. Then my wife stole it, so I don't have to worry about it any more. She doesn't mind it either.

Not to big at all from my experience. PLUS it's built like a tank.

I liked my 0300 so much when I got it I immediately ordered an 0301.

Not too big and rides nicely in the pocket. It also gives good security that it is tougher than any task you will ever need in an edc. :)

I've owned maybe four different 0350's in various steels. I think that it is ZT's best folder; tough and it carries easy in my pocket.

I love larger knives. I think that it is a perfect size, mainly because it is also very thin for such a large folder. It feels amazing in your hand.

It is a beast of a knife, I used my 0301 to cut down a christmas tree. I don't think it's too big, it's just right IMO. You forget it's in your pocket sometimes because it is so thin.

It's a personal preferance. I'd carry it all day long no prob. Other's though might think it's too big. See if you can handle one somewhere and judge for yourself.

The 0300 series are not too big at all for edc; the only problem is finding other knives that compare to the 0300's awesomeness!...

Too Big? No Way! I would love carrying that baby all day every day. I really like hunky folders because size/weight is not an issue for me.

I find it easier and nicer to carry than a Spyderco Military, which is just half the weight. Weight doesn't seem as much of a factor as length when it comes to comfort in the pocket, at least for me.

I have found that a 3.75 inch blade is my ideal edc size. As far as weight goes, it inspires quality and durability. Got one in my pocket right now:D
