zt 0350 or lg sebenza

Definitely not any knives to compare. They are vastly different. Even the blade steel is now different. In the past the Sebbies used to be s30v. They are now s35vn. One is assisted. One is not. One has a recurve, the other doesn't. One's a liner lock. The other is a titanium frame lock. One's a flipper. The other's a thumb opener. One is about 112 shipped. The other is about 400 shipped.

The 350 is a cool knife but the Sebenza is an icon and on a whole different level, IMO.

I always wondered why people say the Sebenza is the best pocket knife until I got one. Super tight tolerances, simplicity, dependability, elegance and just shear good looks are why I think people come back to CRK. Having a lifetime warranty and the option to send the knives in for "spa treatment" also put CRK on top of my list.

I own a ZT350 that I EDC without a worry. If I EDC a Sebenza, I would worry constantly about loosing it, marring it finish etc...

If you do purchase a Sebenza, would you EDC a $500+ knife and use it for the same daily cutting tasks you would a ZT350? If your philosophy of use is the same with both knives, might as well get the Sebenza.

I know if I bought a Sebenza, it would be a safe queen for me.

Keep coming back Bishop2Queen's6. I used to post the same things years ago. I edc Sebenzas and much more expensive folders. They hold their value well and they're a real pleasure to carry and use. :)

Save up for the Sebenza.

I see some people in this thread intimating that people don't use Seb's, or that they won't hold up. I've opened cans, cut tin roofing, dropped it on tiles (oops!), and have had to regrind the tip on mine. The hollow grind and the way the blade drops down to the tip on the Seb makes re-beveling and re-forming tips a breeze.

After an 8 hour car ride (during which I was furiously knifesturbating my Sebenza) I got out of the car and forgot that it was in my lap. It skidded across concrete and was run over by my friend's car, and is none the worse for wear.

Personally, I think Sebenza's look better with wear on them.
