ZT 0350OR - I can't wait!!

Once again, Dave comes through with stupid fast shipping from Oregon. Received mine earlier today; thanks Dave! Orange scales are definitely thicker and the blade has a slightly different profile than the 0350CB that I have.

Looks like they changed almost everything for this one. Thicker G10, a completely different liner, and a new blade shape. I would love to know why the changes were made, and if they will show up on future 0350 models. :thumbup:

I noticed the liner too. I think I prefer the thinner scales.

Dang I was really wanting an orange but seeing how it's thicker and heavier, I may just got the 350 blem route from Dave and have Kryptoglow make a set of scales for me. Solid, does your Orange TS weigh less than the new 350OR??

My scale is showing the following:

0350OR = 6.64 oz, 188.2 g
0350TS + Kryptoglow Scales = 5.45 oz, 154.4 g

Mine came in the mail today. Excellent new knife. As far as I can tell the blade shape is the same, but the grind of the swedge (?) is a bit different. Thanks Dave for your excellent service. :thumbup:

I'm #962, I'm not sure how I feel about the non-milled liner. I took it down last night and the liners were most of that added 1 oz. I think it was like .76 more for the liners. I like the heft but not as a perminant thing. Oh yeah and order from kershaw guy and he rocked it 4 days from oregan to NC thanks for everything Dave!

well, I lucked out with #0027, so it's safe to assume there are going to be 882 "perfect" examples and a bunch of blems to be sold later?

Blems are already for sale. Dave had some I believe. They showed up on the auction site before the non-blems did.

#0082 just showed up here (along with another orangy bit of Kai goodness). Probably a bit heavy duty for me to edc at the office, but hella-fun to play with ;)
