Never heard of this one before reading this thread.

Here's one under a 0350 (it sort of looks like a 0350 and a Para-Military had a baby - I very much dig the look of this knife):

Hey bad_juju, I've got ZT0360SKD #081 here in my grubby little hands. I was fortunate enough to get one of the first run from SKD in 2010.

I don't have a way of posting pictures, but wanted to let you know that comparing it to a 0350 it does in fact look like it was basically a 0350 blade ground down from just below the jimping all the way to the tip. I'm not sure how they actually did them, this is just my thought from looking at it. Maybe Thomas can say if he reads this thread.

I ask one of the guys at SKD about this back then before I ordered it because I was a little concerned about the tip possibly being thinner and thus being easier to break, but to my delight the blade is plenty thick. The carbide tip is a nice touch and is so small and concealed you don't even know it's there.

The blade is of course lighter than the 0350 and the blade is REALLY fast to deploy.

Someone a few months ago posted a picture of I believe a 0300 that he had ground down that looked really close to the 0360 blade shape, but I can't remember who it was now, I've slept since then. :D

Anyway hopefully ZT will have time to make another run for SKD in the near future but if they do I wouldn't hesitate or even blink because they will be gone.:eek:

Hells yeah we would! I was looking back at a thread from when these came out and seen your name in there! I seen that the spine is actually flat on top for batoning or firesteel. I did see that pic too maybe it was in the pic thread? i think i maybe seen a 200 also but its been awhile and i can't remember exactly. If you have a 350 would you mind taking some comparison shots? If not just pics of the 360 will do! i need to um ... you know... study them...or something! You best believe we will be first in line to sign up for another run of these little bad @$$es!

Side note: look at the pic from tactical life above. notice the grind on the 350 and 360? looks like it maybe is flat ground in those pics and higher than a normal one. Or is it just me?

I have the same kinda of commute, and felt the same way about a handy glass breaker. Can't say enough GOOD things about this beast!
 
The SKD version was designed by the SKD folks - so I a not sure Kershaw / ZT have the right to make those.

I have had a chance to handle one - I looked all over for one of these two years ago to get as a gift for a friend -

He wound up finding one, so I got him a 350 to go with it.

The blade is smaller than the 350, but the torsion spring seems the same, so that puppy flys out with authority!!

I do like that blade design, but the belly on the 350 has grown on me - it is very nice to have when doing the kind of cutting chores I do around my house.

Watch on the web - these will have to pop up for sale occasionally -

SKD supposedly has an order in for them so i assume its on kai to get around to it, but when they do who knows or if maybe skd cancelled the order who knows? I might try to do a little detective work on this one for us Cman2!

I hope one pops up sooner rather than latter. I almost feel like this in tune with the elusive unicorn purple blur!

Sorry bad_juju and chivilryman2 I don't have a way of taking pictures at this point. If KAI/SKD end up not making anymore and I decide to let it go.(there' always a chance lol) I'll let you guys know.

Is the 0360 here yet? No. Good, it must wait until I have more money, emptied the paypal again on knives :D Maybe they will decide to put OD scales on it, it would look good with green.
