Zt 0392 SOUND OFF!

Does anyone have confirmation that that 0392 is a one and done?Is it possible that future batches may be released?Its still showing coming soon on the ZT website, unlike the 0454 that immediately said discontinued when directly released.It's possible that more 0392 knives with different configurations may be released.I have a feeling that we may see some more 0392's down the line.......There might be 393 or 394 or 395 versions??????
 
are the stocks of these all sold out already??? Im not going to pay secondary prices that are marked that high up. It's ludicrous.

but these do look AMAZING:thumbup:. If anyone has any info on more becoming available please by all means PM me and share lol :D

I believe all 5 of the dealers that got these sold out within minutes (well, one technically had them a bit longer due to their web site being down). But at this point, you're going to be looking at the secondary market. Prices might settle down a bit once the initial flippers are through. If you know of any overseas dealers that might have them, that could be an option as well. The additional international shipping costs may still be cheaper than the current secondary prices here. I see rick hinderer now has a section on his webpage under gear for eklipse/zt0392 knife hardware coming soon so maybe they will be making more..:confused:

I am always surprised by what ZT does. I gave up trying to out guess them, now I just watch them and jump on the chances that come up.

It's a sweet knife for sure.I was holding my 0392 next to my Sebenza 25 micarta and comparing the two knives in detail and I just kind of smiled. I came to the conclusion that the 0392 is actually a lot nicer that I had expected.ZT's LE are really nice Midtechs in my book.The 0392 is another fine example and feels to me like a hybrid Hinderer/ ZT.I like the knife better than any of the 0801s that I own.It is a very fine EDC if a little weight does not bother you.A sweet knife for sure!!!!

Factory custom or limited edition?I would venture to guess that the Factory Custom line may be expanded and with the 0392 a new ZT brand segment is born.That's my understanding.Factory custom the new 2015 terminology...I am sure I will read an article any day now about the latest Factory Custom in a blade Magizine ad while I am on the throne.

I remember reading something about customizing the 392 On the kia page

who knows at this point>,< It could be just different color options like red or green instead of blue.

Those who want to take their 0392 to the next level of customization will be able to purchase after-market hardware from Rick Hinderer to make their 0392 unique.

Wow, are you including the 0801CF when you say that? Because that was one that I really kicked myself for missing.
 
Guess that answers the question (straight from Thomas and Rick), this version of the 0392 is the first of what's planned to be many versions. Very cool.:D

I guess I will have to stay tuned for the next run. Wonder how they will change it up though. My guess is it might be a tanto, or a G10 or CF scale instead. Or just different colored hardware.

If any one got there's from GPKnives, please post that with your serial number. I won't get to lay eyes on mine for a week or so and I am excited to find out what range numbers they had... It looks like they could be any where in 001 - 070 range or 300-400 range... I know they got 48 pieces, and hope they are the first 48!!
