ZT 0452cf as an EDC?

This thread is funny. The 0452 is an awesome EDC knife. I actually joked that it was my folding streak knife when I first purchased it.

Lots of knife yet very light, thin and narrow.

Powernoodle agrees. Since a knife spends 98% of its day in your pocket, being thin and easy to pocket is a big deal for me. The 0452CF fits the bill. Its not as thin in the pocket as something like a Spyderco Police or Al Mar Eagle, but its one of those rare knives that gives you a big blade with a thin demeanor in the pocket.

I actually just saw that on his site. I need to read up on anodizing. No idea how durable it is. Thx

Anodized titanium is not durable. Nothing like hard anodized aluminum. However, it is user renewable if you have a DC power supply and some diet coke. I could anodize all of my ti but I don't because of the lack of wearability. The thickest layer of ti ano is 5 millionth's of an inch. That said the colors can be terrific. I like green but it takes me 200 volts to produce that color.

Amen to every word you said, sir!

Hey Sosa, what clip is that you've got installed? It looks a hell of a lot better and more proportionate than the teensy cryo clip that comes stock.
It's off my 801. I removed the black coating and scotchbrite it. Functions a hell of a lot better than that little weeny clip.

Great info, thanks for the info. Think I'll stay with the"clear" Ti. I know this is random ad i started this thread about the 452 but i am ordering an 0808 tonight. I'll be sure to pick up the 452cf soon, but this 0808 is unlike anything else in my zt line up.
