ZT 0551 Serial 0126 - Gone Missing!

Heads up, PLEASE.
If anyone sees this knife please let me know. It is my son's knife which he lost in the MCMAP pit at Quatico, VA during USMC Training. He noticed it was missing and went back and searched for it, and asked the instructors, but to no avail.

I work at Quantico so I will let you know if I hear anything. Has he checked all his gear? If he was in the MCMAP pit he should have divested his knife, meaning they usually tell folks to remove jewelry, pens, knives etc. before beginning. I'm hoping he just put it with his gear and it will pop up. Unfortunately there is a lot of foot traffic in that area so it may be in someone's pocket.

Thanks. He is with Bravo Co, TBS. Lost it about 2 mos ago, was embarrassed to tell me, but did so while home on 96. I don't know the details, just that he had it when he went to MCMAP and noticed it missing afterwards. He is totally bummed. It was his commissioning gift.
 
I hate to say it dude, but you might be SOL.

I bet every person who saw it was at least tempted to pocket it!

I'm sure you're right, but the core values of the Marines includes "Honor", which I was hoping would surface in this instance. As well as being, "Always Faithful" (eg: to the values of the USMC, and fellow Marines)
Well he enjoyed it while he had it, and I'm sure learned some lessons through the loss, and my response.

^ this is why I keep buying Kershaw/ZT. They really take care of people, from the awesome CS, to the multiple examples of Thomas W here in the forum.

You've got to be kidding!? I don't know what to say...that is such a generous and amazing offer. He would be SO HAPPY and SURPRISED. I must say, Kershaw/ZT certainly exemplifies the motto Semper Fidelis.
