ZT 0561 lock bar?

I sent my 0560 in for maintenance since my lock stick progressed so badly to the point where I needed to pry the lockbar out to unlock the blade. ZT contacted me saying that they'll be replacing my knife with a new version if just replacing the frame doesn't fix it, so there's hope for those with a sticky 0560/0561, ZT will take care of you.

I just recently got my 0560 back from kai, they replaced the lock side of the knife. I was having issues with a really late lock up to the point i had to get a screw driver to pop the lock back out. It originaly did not have the insert on it, and i think after alot of flipping it just finally wore away. Not sure if it was the lock or the blade. Now it has the insert on it and the lockup is awesome. I love the knife both ways, so if you can pick one up cheep go for it. If you have any problems kai will help you out. Total cost to have mine repaired was about $8 for the shipping to them. Had it back in a couple weeks better than befor. Just my opinion.

I'm having to get used to these bearings. The feeling they remind me of is a cheap knife with a ton of blade play. Except they have no blade play lol.

i recently bought a 0560 and within 10 minutes i knew there was a problem, if you engage it hard with the flipper its almost impossible to unlock, had to use two hands to unlock and my thumbs were raw from trying, it got to the point that i needed a flat head screw driver to disengage the lock.
i know theirs some sharpie hack for it, but for 200 bucks id hope i wouldn't have to do that so i sent it to ZT for warranty repair, hoping they can resolve it for me, no clue how long they will have it for but heres to hoping it gets fixed one way or the other :(

Well that stinks! I read about that issue but my knife doesn't have it. Does yours have the steel lock face insert?

Yea I know right? Tell me about it. Needless to say I was bummed.
Mine does not have the steel lock face insert. It's serial # 64**
Hoping they fix it for me

What I've done to mine so far is disassemble the g10 side, oiled the bearings and the detent track and played with it for a night then wiped away all the excess oil so as not to attract dirt. I loctited the pivot with a tiny amount just to keep it held and I had switched the pocket clip to tip down for about an hour but didn't like it. So that's how it sits in my pocket. The lockbar contacts the blade tang on just the corner of te lockbar, unlike many knives where more of the face is touching. But it's a solid lock.
