ZT 0562 or ZT 0562CF? (Elmax or M390)

I can't think of anything in stock right now, but a friend and I have Shirogorovs in both M390 and Elmax. His is a 95 Hati, and mine is a 95-T, but they're the exact same blade. Both are very excellent. I sharpen his for him, and that's where I get a lot of my experience in comparing them. I also have a Diskin Fire in Elmax, but the blade geometry is much different.

Thanks. May have to make this into a project.

I see a lot of community support on this one too. If only the 0392 was a more prolific run, I would say it would be the best model for modding, but as it stands I think the 0562 (both versions) will be one of the best knives for the modding community to play with for a while, considering the nice clean Ti, and the scales. Not the easiest to mod if they stick to their current design I think, but some awesome stuff will come from it.
If anyone has the ability to make a Ti front scale them, I would happily drop the coin for one that could copy the machining on the lockside. Might be a bit much to ask for though :o

The one thing that might modding a little tricky on this model is that unique pocket clip design.

If you do, definitely let us know what you find. I've never really gotten the chance to sit down and compare the two steels apples to apples, and I doubt I could get my buddy to let me test his Hati. He's a little protective, and I can't blame him at all.
It would be really good if comparisons could be made between the thinner blade geometry that Shirogorov offers, and the heavier blade geometry that the 0562 will likely be at the same testing, to see if one steel or the other benefits from a beefier edge and overall design as well. Might be interesting to see how both compare under different heat-treats as well.

Well...I'm about to go grab a 0566 to tide me over while waiting for the 0562CF, and to feed my G10/Elmax fix...

got both pre-ordered, looking forward to comparing them side by side. I'm sure the CF/M390 will be the first one I use and keep the other as a back up.
