Zt 0562cf break in?

Post #33 contacted them they Re sending me a label to reship. Agreed with most everything you said rev devil but if a knife is sent to me with a issue why would II pay to send it back I contacted them within 24hours of me having it. I'm not really worried just bullshitting while I'm bored at work didn't think it was really a big deal. Blade hq was fine and didn't question it at all.
Keep rolling there mr break in....while im home on computer busting your balls !!!!!

I don't have an answer for why you should have to pay for return shipping. Just telling you what I've read over the years. I've been on forums, it's not what one would call an unheard of thing. You haven't been around long enough to have witness the uberdrama involved with some knife brands and the relentless complaints about one thing or another. Some legitimate, others imagined and yet others simply to troll the hell out of the company, the people here, etc. glad you are being taken care of. The issue is, some people read things and they think they have no idea what they have (is it a real issue or are the perceptions skewed/unrealistic) they automatically go to thinking the absolute worst in every aspect. That kind of thing doesn't do anyone any favors. In any case, glad things are getting worked out.

Incredibly helpful and very well thought out I see, thanks.

Update: because I know all of you were loosing sleep over my issues lol.I did the steps bfying said after blowing it out a couple times and relubing it it stopped making noise still a little stiff bit quiet.so with that being said I think it's what most of you guys said just needs to be broken in.I just needed to clean the sand out of my vagina lol and mess with it. If it does t break in more in a week or 2 I'll go from there.

Whahoo. My dealer just called to say they got some more in, I will finally be able to compare an actual 0562CF. I will say of the most recent models, my 0452CF was the stiffest of the bunch. But it's a double edged sword. You need more detent strength to build up power to throw that long blade, but don't want it too tough and not activate smoothly when needed. After many hundred of flips, it's now what I would call absolutely perfect.

Now developing a blister on my thumb trying to break in a Spyder Chaparral. Any change in the pivot beyond just really tight caused side rubbing. So my only simple option is to work the tang against the spring/lock (it's a back lock). I'm probably at over 1000 partial openings, and 60-70 fully open lockups. It's much better, but not like the Spyder's I'm used to.
