Okay now THAT is hot! :p

The best thing about the ZT 0562CF is that it's a regular production! Of course, CF, M390 and great flipper action are key ingredients as well. A lot of value at $240 but once supplies increase you can expect to pay even less.

That's my thinking as well. In fact, I won't buy an 0562CF until it drops under $200.00. But then I don't plan to carry it anyway, so I'm really not in a hurry to buy one. My vigil remains for the 3.0" version.

It won't hit that low unless it's on the secondary market. KAI is MAP pricing-- and we're talking about a premium knife (Titanium Framelock, Premium Carbon Fiber, Premium Blade Steel). ZT would go bankrupt with that mentality...

It's already down to less than $210.00. It doesn't have that much further to go. I'll bide my time and we'll see what happens.

That's what I'm talking about. :) When the 0770CF first came out, it sold for $180.00. What does it sell for now?

See what I mean, somber?

Just got word from KC my preorder is in and should ship today or tomorrow. A lot better price than 240 as well. Stoked!!!!

The 801 lists for 240, and you can get it for 160 ish...I suspect ithe 562cf will get to 190ish...it may take a while

I'm still confused that the OP wishes this was LE? Why? Isn't this what we wanted? Knives with premium blade steel and design in regular production? I think the flippers are the only ones who should be unhappy .... YMMV

Both the 0562CF flippers and the 3.5" XM-18 secondary market flippers should be unhappy. I spoke to someone who sold their 3.5" XM-18 a couple of months ago because, as they put it, they could read the writing on the wall.

Yup, I don't feel sorry for the flippers

I'll gladly be the d-bag to say it: anything that makes it hard for flipper scumbags to make an absurd profit while providing NO value is just fine by me.

And I'll tag along by saying that it does my heart good to see Rick making money at the expense of the flippers. Now all we have to do is get him to push ZT into making the 3.0" version of the 0562CF and all will be well . . . except for the flippers, of course. ;)
