I'll gladly be the d-bag to say it: anything that makes it hard for flipper scumbags to make an absurd profit while providing NO value is just fine by me.

I'd suggest we leave Thomas out of this. Talking about him is a quick way to get this thread shut down.
Know what's funny Thomas Welk made fun of people who were upset over 2nd hand prices. Said the people who were whining and complaining about it where people who didn't have money.
In any case guess what was in my door, as the mailman walked out of my house?
LOL I can't speak for others, but in my case, I can afford the jacked prices, it's just refusal to do so on my part.
Me too. But I decided not to deprive myself of the knife I wanted. So I chose to protest the jacked prices in another fashion. I suppose you could say that I was able to bake my cake and eat it too. I consider my solution to be temporary, however. I'll terminate it just as soon as ZT makes a licensed version of the 3.0" XM-18 . . . assuming they ever do that, of course.

What did you get in the mail?
I'd say guess again, but then I couldn't engage you in a conversation after that. So I won't.Ahhhh, I'm guessing you bought an actual Hinderer.

I too wait for the first comps to come in of the 0562CF versus the 3.5" XM-18. Should be very interesting.
You'll have to discount some reports based on the fact that certain people will have a greater need to justify their purchase decisions than provide an unbiased comparison. (Just imagine how difficult it would be if you had to admit that the XM-18 you bought for $600+ wasn't worth three 0562CFs and you'll understand what I'm talking about.) And, of course, the fit and finish of a Hinderer should be superior to that of a ZT. The question is whether the additional fit and finish of the Hinderer is worth two to three times the street price of the ZT. I can't imagine that it is, but then I don't have a reason to justify a purchase decision I never made.Well there was a member here who posted pics last week of a side by side comparison, and someone else did also, but then started going about the fit and finish the actual Hinderer was far superior and thus worth what they go for. I disagree, but don't feel the need to cast judgment on the value systems of others.
Hit the pivots on the two that are sticky with a couple of drops of Nano-Oil and try again.Having handled 3 XM's so far the FF is superb and looking at my ZT's I see why the XM's go for those prices. I have one that flips like it has Speedsafe and the other 2 I can get about 75% max on a flip attempt with no wrist action. Does not really bother me as I flick my wrist from force of habit.
