Zt 0562cf slow roll out.....

The 0562CF's are trickling in to dealers a little at a time. At some point the supply will catch up to the demand and they will be readily available.
 
I was very lucky to find one here in Scottsdale. It was listed for $310 but I was able to shame him down to a much better price. I've had it for several weeks now, it's by far my favorite ZT now. I even sold my ZT0566CF and ZT0770CF as a result, now if I could only find some factory CF scales for my ZT0550 which I tried to refinish the originals but took a bit too much off...They polish up nice but I have a low spot on them. Maybe I can make a deal with ZT when I send it in for a new blade, LOL !
 
I actually bought one last Saturday and it just arrived to my house. I'm going to make a thread partially about it in a second.

Wouldn't surprise me..If the demand/poularity is high enough I've seen some knives sell out in 30 seconds or less..I'm thinking the 0562cf fits that criteria..

I could have bought one but for some reason I'm not that interested in it so I didn't..

The 0560cbcf does everything I need..

Is that the dealer you per ordered from? If so sounds sounds like they screwed up. If not thats why preorders are pointless as you usually can pick up the knife from a different dealer who gets it in stock before the place you preorder from can get to you.
 
Yesterday they did have them up for sale, I bought one and did not have a pre order.

That is why I recommend anyone who has a preorder to call and check on it....

Keep looking. Seen several of both varieties come up in the exchange and a few retailers here and there. Stay diligent and you'll find one soon enough. They're worth the trouble.

There's simply just not enough supply to keep up with demand. I'd be pissed too if I had an unfilled pre-order and they were selling them.

One day, a few months back, i checked knifecenter and the 0562cf showed as in stock. I quickly bought one. I checked my order status the next day, because the 0562cf went back to saying it was a pre-order, and my status said pre-order. I called them and they said they didn't have any stock and i placed a pre-order. I cancelled the order.

Maybe I can help clear this up. The way I understand it to work is when they get inventory in they have to put it in the system before they ship the pre orders out. So it will show up in stock for a short amount of time yet in reality there never was one available for sale it went to fill a pre order. This is only what ive heard take it for what its worth...
