ZT 0562CF Video

I wonder what the ETA of this is.....been a long wait.

Long wait? It was only announced a little over 3 months ago! We waited over 10 months for the 0770CF to hit the shelves. Give it at least 6-9 months from announcement.

I like everything about it except what appears to be very smooth/slippery handle slabs, I'm keeping my pre-order but I have a feeling as slippery as the handle looks it won't stay.

It still amazes me how many knife companies are making high end knives with slippery handle materials/surfaces, but the bulk of the market obviously loves it, which I have my own hypothesis on the reason behind.

It's much gentler on my baby soft hands when I use my knife once per day to open an envelope ;)

Great quality video, thanks for posting. I really like this knife and hope I don't run into the same issue as I did with the 560 (being too big for my needs). If it is I'll just have to stick to my 566 and hope KAI makes an upscale version of the 566 like blackwash, Ti lock side scale, etc (wishful thinking I know!).

Lots of tools are smooth. Hell, most of them are polished. I've never had a problem holding on to a combination wrench or a ratchet.

Maybe roughen your hands up a bit? :p

That's funny the biggest complaint we heard years ago when I worked for sears was the slippery handles on the high polished craftsman professional series tools when they first came out. I guess it goes to show that it's not just knives that don't really get used.

Thanks for sharing. I have one on pre-order. The 0562CF has everything I want; hits all my buttons!
I didn't like the blade grind/design at first; I like the 0560 blade design better, but it's really growing on me now.
