They do nice work, and this knife just screams for it.

It's kinda... Boring. Just a flat Ti scale with nothin' going on. I think they missed out on an obvious opportunity to give it a fresh new look like the 0801Ti, or 0801CF

Visually interesting milling really sets it apart.

This, though? This just smacks of lazy and uninspired design. Great for modders, I guess.
Funnily enough, there have been full Ti clone versions of the 0562 with full Ti scales as early as a couple years back, and they are more visually interesting than the grey brick above.

Completely agree! Wasted opportunity for ZT. But if they do it, the retail would perhaps go beyond $300.
Talking about custom mod like milling and anodizing, does that void the warranty?
Yes there has. In more ways than one. Prying and light spine whacks.Have there been any lock failures with the 0562?

I doubt they fixed the issue in the production line. But it doesn't seem to occur on every single knife.

I sorta agree. The 0452ti has grooves machined on the edge of the handle which gave it a unique look. The 0562ti would have benefited from the same kind of treatment imo. It would have been nice for it to be the same price as the 0562cf or even a little cheaper.
