Is your blade centered? It may be hitting the side.
For the most part yeah. If does lean slightly towards the replacable scale side but not a whole lot.

And what really drives me nuts is I can't replicate it every time. It seems random.

I've also noticed that if I try to use my left hand; my hand pushes the frame lock against the blade and I can't open the knife unless I release the pressure. But I imagine that's normal.

Post pics of the centering. When you said "click" I immediately thought you were referring to the detent engaging. I really hope that's not it........

It is a nice knife and alot of potential to customize. Here is one with acid stonewash hardware on a ivory micarta handle.

Anyone ever hear a clicking noise on the close?

The torsion bar in mine clicks when shutting it when it gets about 3/4 way closed. Strange part is it used to click really long until I dropped it on a concrete floor at work one day. Barely noticeable now. If you remove the torsion bar it goes away, but mine didn't make the greatest manual due to a weak detent.

I'll try to take a photo. I also notice that the "shave" down the top of the blade ends in different spots?

Best photo I could get. It leans to the right.

It arrived yesterday. So far I really like the knife. Getting used to the flipper. I've been a BenchMade guy for so long that I keep reaching for the Axis lock instead of the frame lock. Lol.

Looks like it scraping the liner....

That was my first thought. I bought mine used here on the sales forum, and it quickly developed an off centered blade, and a little blade play. I sent it into ZT Warranty service, and it came back perfect. No charge for the service either. Mine was clicking when it hit the liner but it is fine now, and has been for a while.

I love 'em - the only downside in my book is that they are a bit on the heavy side for their size:

Thanks a lot! The 0566 wasn't even on my radar. Now I am feeling that I need to have one.

Tightening the pivot solved those problems for me;)

Also.

I have a problem with my hand pushing the pocket clip, which pushes the liner lock. And in return makes it hard to open the knife.

So I'd like to switch to blade down carry, has anyone ever had an issue with the knife being flipped open in their pocket?

Switched to blade down and adjusted the pivot what seems like 10 degrees.

Still clicks but the new position of the clip is so much nicer and easier.

That would be the torsion bar from the speed safe assisted opening....you can open up the knife and repack the cavity the bar sits in with some grease and it will stop....
Bingo.

Has anyone ever added anything to make it stop? I.e. a tiny vynl sleeve or foam
