ZT 0777 M390 Poll: Stonewashed or DLC (Limited)?

Just wanted to see what everyone thinks. I happened to get a preorder on the House Of Blades exclusive 0777 M390blk (DLC coated blade). Very excited to see this variant. I'm not usually a coated blade fan because I don't like noticeable scratches but this version sounded sweet and I had an opportunity to snag one...so I did. :)

Here's the question: Would you prefer the Satin version or the more limited DLC version (limited to 150)? It seems like a similar comparison to the stonewashed tilt vs. the DLC Tilt. Both 0777M390's are going to be unbelievable and I am very thankful to be able to get either one. Just curious. Thanks for the feedback!

I would rather have satin because i would actually use it. I wouldnt collect it, but then again its out my price range anyway.
 
On a purely aesthetics criteria I don't know since we don't have single picture of the 0777M390BLK DLC one. On a usage basis the DLC one will show scratches more than the 0777-M390 stonewashed one.

That Russian-language video is from January 2013 so it may or may not be a ZT at least on the blade!

ZT changed the finish from satin to stonewashed on the 0777-M390.

The 0777M390 is identical to the original 0777, except for the blade material. In place of the Composite Blade, we will incorporate a solid blade of premium M390 steel, which will be fine stonewash finished.

Thanks for the Russian knockoff confirmation. I was unclear on what the finish on the M390 is. Saw contradictory information. Stonewashed it is.
 
I jumped on the HOB DLC model as well because I don't want to miss this knife, even though I prefer uncoated blades. Luckily my insomnia paid off last night and another member pointed me to a SW model. Giggity!

And to keep with the thread topic I think the stonewashed is best. Though the dlc I sure will look good in its own way.
 
I think the dlc 777 is going to look amazing! Thinking about picking up a stonewashed one too. Then I'd have the whole family...like a few others. Got to save up for that 888 though. Wasn't planning on getting another 777.
 
I signed up for the DLC, not sure how I'll like it honestly, may end up flipping it to pick up a stonewash version. Gotta get it in hand first!
 
SW if it was for using it, but i don't plan to do anything else than fondling this beauty........ so DLC!!!! i always prefered Black blades, but end up getting more Stone washed to avoid the early signs of wear... Now i've ordered a DLC 777 at HOB and i'm highly exited!!! and if ever it bugs me, i'll always have the opportunity to take off the coating and get it a nice acid SW...
 
I placed an order for the DLC version. I prefer the look of black blades. My ZT0777 is going to be a user. Life's too short not to use the best things you can afford in life. A knife in a safe isn't going to do me any good.
