I think an 0777 can be had for less than a grand and the Bodega on the other hand might cost you a little more than the grand. If I had the money to blow on either it would be the Bodega though. I love the design of the Bodega, even more than I love the 0777.

Do you know of any other place to look for an 0777? The only 0777 I've found for sale is on ebay and listed at $950.
 
One just sold here on the exchange and I would say it's probably the best place to run across one at a reasonable price. They don't pop up often and you have to be quick. It really takes luck and patience. I've seen a couple come across ebay in the $600-700 range as well. This also isn't the only knife forum on the web, so you might find on some other forum.

There were 4 or 5 on the bay just a week or so ago. They all sold or expired. The only one up right now that I saw was $950

There are so many people looking for the SW version that they sell in minutes. You have to be super lucky / quick on them.

SW is the stonewashed variation...BW is the black washed variation...and BLK is the black DLC blade variation.

For the others...the ZT 0770 is smaller than the original 0777. The Matrix is sized as a ZT 0777, but the mini matrix is sized as a ZT 0770. The Matrix and 0777 are 3.75" ish blades vs. the mini Matrix and 0770 which are 3.25" ish blades.

Will do. I got pretty lucky jumping on it. I was watching TV last night with my wife contemplating whether $950 was worth spending on the one on ebay. Then I got to thinking I should do a search on bladeforums to see how often they come up for sale and what price they normally go for. What do you know, I see one just posted up for sale at $675, so I took it.
 
To be honest, I haven't ever seen the composite blade version for sale on this forum. Has anyone else? I always hate to defer to ebay prices for knives.
 
I know if I had one I wouldn't be letting it go for any less than $1k....and I would have to be pretty hard up for the money to do so...
 
I looked in the past completed auctions on ebay and found a dozen or so 0777 m390s since april ranging from $650-$900. No composite blades.

Crazy to think they are so limited/coveted, that even eBay doesn't see too many.
