Zt 0777

Composite was listed for $2,000~ (probably more by this time) shortly after they were delivered.
I have only seen one come up for sale on the forum ($2,000~), and once after that on "that" bidding site (I don't know what it sold for). I have yet to see one for sale since.

I think one of the reasons they are coveted is because of all the issues with the production of it. It made it rarer and rare.

I don't think they would go that high? There was one on the auction site early spring that sold for like $1250...but the buyer was overseas and never paid if I remember correctly. It was an auction too so no BIN. I was surprised it went that low! I think the seller was glad the dude flaked.

Never said it sold but someone tried to list it for $2,000 shortly after most if not all were distributed (understand they were distributed in a bit of a time span). I don't know if it did or didn't sell. Same thing for the ebay one but that one was an auction at it was at about $800~ same day it started I have no clue how much it ended at. Wouldnt be surprised if we're talking about the same listing lol.

Right now, the price is unknown since they don't come up for sale very often.

Few months back I bought a LNIB for $800.00 and also a NIB for $1100.00

I have had a bunch go through my hands and have been fortunate to pass them along to friends.

So after searching around the internet I did find another design that I think rivals the 0777. Todd Begg Bodega. Those are some sweet looking knives.

In particular, I think the one on this page is really nice looking: http://beggknives.net/hello-world-the-bodega-is-here/

If you were going to pay a grand for that or the 0777, what would you buy?

I have both. The Bodega is a larger knife than the 0777. Both are super high quality and have perfect styling in my opinion. You will pay at least $1500 to get a CF Bodega so in a way the 0777 has a lot of bang for the buck. you could get two 0777's for the price of a non field grade Bodega.

I've only had my hands on one and it's not going anywhere! :)

Pictures!!

Kind of a crappy pic with my ipad, but it will have to do for now. Serial # is 309.

No one really knows production numbers, but there was many more that 150 of the M390 BLK's made.

The rarest would probably be the BW version.

I think an 0777 can be had for less than a grand and the Bodega on the other hand might cost you a little more than the grand. If I had the money to blow on either it would be the Bodega though. I love the design of the Bodega, even more than I love the 0777.

I agree with this. I missed out on the 0777 and have not been willing to spend the premium for one on the secondary market. But I will one day buy a Bodega. Perhaps soon if I can find the right one. That is my current grail.

I love my CF Bodega because I can carry it. I don't want to mess up my 777's.

That was serial #009. That's why it went for so much.

I am not sure what you are basing this off but probably not. When you deal with items in THIS limited of numbers with an insane demand low or high serial numbers will only be marginally apart. Maybe $100-$200... Not double the price.
I doubt anyone buying one has the privilege to be picky about a serial number.
