I just wanted to give a shout out to Zero Tolerance for taking a risk and producing a work of art in the 0850. I know this knife is polarizing, as evidenced by some of the posts on this forum and a pretty scathing review by a YouTube personality recently, but I find the knife stunning. The action is the absolute best I have ever experienced. Better even than ball bearing flippers. Quality materials, quality workmanship, and awesome aesthetics. Bravo, ZT!

i am patiently waiting to buy this as a bday present to myself. if i hadn't already purchased a few expensive balisongs recently i'd have already acquired the 850.

I don't own one, but I'm definitely diggin' the looks of it! It's nice to see more non-flipper ZTs.

I don't hate it, would like to try one someday. ZT did a better job on their line up this year then Benchmade, in my opinion.

I like everything but the hardware. The barrels are just too much for me. If it has a more normal looking thumb stud, backspacer and pivot, I would be all over this.

The knife is awesome. The action just puts knives hundreds of more dollars expensive to shame. Really something to experience.

I agree. Plus the fact that it has the action of a flipper or assisted opening on just washers is quite impressive. I've owned quite a few knives including, Large and small 21's, a 25, and large Inkosi's and this knife has better and smoother action hands down.

ApostleP is a legend in his own mind.
Yeah, the pure dismissal of the knife on that 0850 review was a bit much. Yet every cold steel or crk knife is a home run for him it seems. Oh well, to each his own. Diversity of opinion is a good thing.

I felt the same way until I got one in hand. Honestly, the design grows on you. Really a sleek little knife.

I'll need to catch up on ApostleP's review. Didn't hear about it till this thread.

I'll be honest; I can tell that guy is a little full of himself from the other reviews I've seen. Oh well.

ZT knows how to make a great knife. Plain and simple. I've had several of their production pieces, and am proud to own a limited 0392BLK as well.

I'm pumped on the 0850 and hope to own one someday soon. It's a slick looking knife!

Man, I have yet to own any 0392 editions but have owned many different models from ZT and I must say that the 0850 and the 0920 are two of their best offerings to date. I really have to add a 0392 to my collection soon!
