Boy, if maprik & rival ever joined forces,i couldnt imagine how cool those knives would be !They would put regular production knives to shame!!
 
That's a dark bronze Ano sanded down with a scotch brite pad and then a light bronze ano. This leaves dark bronze at the deeper part of the dimple and a lighter bronze toward the ridges where the scotch brite removed the darker bronze. Then lightly sanded off the ano on the ridges leaving bare polished Ti.

Just got it back after having some work done by Maprik. He anodized the Ti scale and acid/stone washed the blade, clip and liner.

The anodizing is so much more interesting than I expected. Looks different depending on the lighting.

Also, sporting a lightning strike carbon fiber scale, copper LBS, and matching copper bead.

I have always kept my knives totally stock. After looking at some of these here and some 801s earlier, I think I gotta learn how to do this custom stuff
