Bumping this thread. With all these 0566s shipping who's going to be the first to post here?

First post here! Thought I'd share my ZT. I heat anodized the frame with a butane torch and did an acid wash with mutriac acid. For some reason it took forever to darken, and even after 3 hours I couldn't reach the nice dark color seen in the above posts. Some tips would be appreciated! Anyhow, the ironwood scales are by Cuscadi.de and the tritium lantern is from TEC.

Welcome! I think your pimp job looks amazing. Look forward to seeing more of your work!

It's actually the foursevens product guide. The green scale is by Kryptoglow. The knife just sold the other day through the exchange to raise money for ER bills, as my wife fractured her spine while we were on vacation last week. Life happens from time to time. She will be back up and going in 8 to 10 weeks.

Hey man is there any way that I could donate a bit?

How would one achieve such a nice looking edge on my own ZT 0350
brplatz. That edge is from a good'ol Lanskey system, with a mix of standard and diamond stones, at 17 deg. per side.
Stropped on an old belt, with "White Rouge" rubbed on it.
I have stuck with the Lanskey , even with the many newer systems, as I am familiar with it, after 20+ years using it.
Thanks! Dan.
