ZT bring back the .........

If memory serves me the 0560 series was around $160-$180 range.Considering all the machining on the Ti side,I always thought that was a pretty great price.

The 560 was a great price at the time for a knife of that quality and materials. If I didn't already own one I'd say bring it back.

Of the zts I don't currently own I would say the 550 and 200. I always regret selling that 550. Great none flipper. I'd buy a new one on the spot. Zt would need to improve the flipping action on the 200 for me to be seriously interested (which I assume they would). Had 2 of them and the flipping action wasn't good.

I could use the 560 BW and a 550 BW with G10 instead of plastic ... would buy both in a heartbeat.

I had four different 0560 variations and still have two... What a great knife. No idea why they disco'd it other than maybe it was too expensive to manufacture?

0630 is the only one I would currently buy if they brought it back.

I'd love to see another 0392 limited edition, maybe with a solid CF non-lock side?

How about a 0452ti in full DLC? Same for the 0562ti.

0560, 0561 and 0550's are still available if you look around. I picked up a NIB 0560 a few months back to go with my 0561. Tempted to get the 0550, NIB $199. Old stock, prices on the 056X's are over $300. I don't mind them w/out the lock bar inserts. The 560 had some bad lock stick at 1st but after a day it's gone, the 561 has a tiny bit. It's better than the lock-bar skittering across the blade ramp under pressure.

I was thinking the 0500 MUDD would be a great comeback. Even better if they could produce it for around $200. The price they command nowadays are usually more than the production Hawk’s, which is nuts.

The 0560 versions without the lock bar insert are great, and lighter because of the extra milling on the inside of the handle that the later versions didn't have.

The regular price of ZT 0560/0561 was ~$260. The discounted price after being discontinued was ~$200 (I did not recall anything lower than that although my memory could be wrong).

As for why they were discontinued, well, I assume the market was saturated (many pieces were sold such that I saw ser. # of larger than 12,xxx). It's just like another big and sexy knife Benchmade 710. After they were discontinued, they would be missed badly by at least some folks. They are no doubt iconic knives but they are a bit too big for many knife users. I never carry my ZT 0561 or Benchmade 710.

I want to see them bring back the 0180 or some other fixed blades in tough steels. Their folders do very little for me.

Early on they were far more inexpensive. I bought one nib from a dealer for around $160.

The 0610ST (or a plain edged 0610 but I'm not sure if they ever made PE version before).

0550, 0620/0630, 0900 are the one I would like to see back

Even if the 0640 now replace my now gone 0550, the 0550 is a great design

Strong frame lock + washers = usually a great combination for ZT

The Benchmade 710 is another great knife that I should have bought a second.

Surprised no one said 0780.

That was my grail ZT when it was 1st announced in Sandvik 14C28N steel. Saw a prototype at BLADE and I was anxiously waiting. Then the steel got changed to S30V and the price went up. Release dragged on & more & more people got excited about a "Super Skyline". Then it was released and sold fast. People were waiting for the next release & the secondary market was good. Then owners started complaining about problems with it. Lots of posts made on this forum about the various issues. In the end it got dropped pretty quickly.
