Just to make sure.
As noted above, a wire edge (or a foil burr) could feel very sharp due to its thin shape and often lingers on a sharpened edge. To test whether it is removed, I slide my edge on hard wood surface or slightly cut into a wine cork, and then check the edge under intense light (sun light). If I see reflections on portions of the edge, it indicates that there was a wire edge. You can also cut into a piece of Amazon-type cardboard shallow (1" deep with light pressure) and inspect the same way.
