ZT Emerson Collaboration

That or get a carbide bit and drill the whole motherfucker through.

Love the blade but don't care for the G10/Ti handle. Would prefer either a liner lock or all Ti framelock handle.

Shoot I just sent a bunch of Emersons to get pimped so they could be perfect and instead I could have saved hundreds just waiting for the ZT version.

Anyone else is thinking this was a mistake Emerson made with his ZT deal?

I wonder if he plans to slow down the factory.

No way he made a mistake. I would hazard a guess that there are many more KAI / ZT fans and they are about to be introduced to his designs. This is win win for everyone.

Earlier in this thread I said I'll pass but the more I look at it the more I like it so I'll be saving my nickels.

i think emerson made a good decision. people that won't buy emerson knives might consider buying the kershaw/ZT collabs now. this will definitely broaden his customers.
ive been a big fan of emerson knives for a long time, but every time i buy one, i feel im getting ripped off a little bit because of what i get in return. which is why i have not purchased a new emerson in the last few years.
Mr. Emerson seems like he is already really busy with all his different business ventures. He is only one person and can only do so much in a day.

im really looking forward to the 620CF, as well as the kershaw/emerson line. it really seems like a good deal when you consider how much custom frame-lock emersons cost. on top of that the more premium steel.:D

Oh my Gawd! What's not to like here! M390 steel (on the CF models, looks like the regulars are utilizing ELMAX) a Ti back with a lock bar insert... Sign me up!
I'll definitely be looking at one of those and the 0562 CF as welL

WAY TO GO ZT AND WAY TO GO EMERSON!

I am a ZT/Kershaw fan who recently got into karambits and my self-defense strategy has changed as a result of the Combat Karambit. I also got one of the new FX599s with the trainer, which have the Emerson wave feature. I have some great ZT/Kershaw knives and some other great folders, but I'm no longer buying anything without the wave. At the moment I'm sort of torn between the Roadhouse (3.8 inch blade?) and the ZT0620 or ZT0620CF. I think I'm going to wait for the latter to come out, but I could go with any of them. I also really like the CQC-15.

I plan to buy a bunch of the Emerson/Kershaws because I have a lot of nephews and they'd make great presents.
I also looked at the Fox Col Moschin Delta Ops, but the spear point has fairly limited utility. Love the N690Co steel, though.

Yeah, I will be getting the carbon fiber/M390 version when it is available.

I'm drooling over this, but my understanding is that it's six months away. Assuming that's true I don't understand why they'd announce something that won't be available for half a year. By the time it comes out it will have slipped my mind entirely.

I'm a fan of no lanyard hole, can not wait till I can buy one

Freewheeling, the answer to that problem is to pre-order...I just placed mine :)

I am so happy they have it without the lanyard hole (which I never use anyway). I am definitely getting one (or 2) of these. WOW!

I normally don't like lanyards. They get in the way. The only time I use them is when I'm somewhere where I'm likely to lose it and pocket retention isn't enough.

People will still get their Emersons modded, since there are only a handful of collaboration models and plenty of people still like their original Emersons. Wish I had my CQC-11...regret sending it to a knifemaker who scammed a bunch on this forum and a few others.
