ZT needs to make...

....a high end version of the Kershaw Injection. Like i dont think iv ever been more amazed at a sub 50 dollar knife. This thing is crazy amazing for the 15 or so bucks one of them costs.

I like everything about that knife except the massively protruding thumb studs.

I'd like to see a high end unassisted version of the Volt SS in Ti.

How about an unassisted 0770 on bearings already!

I agree. I have an Injection 3.5, and carry it when hiking with my Mora Companion HD. For under $30 for both I feel well equipped. Maybe Kershaw can come out with an Injection with a tad better blade steel for a few bucks more. Nothing exotic, but a bit of an upgrade.

I would’ve loved to see a sprint run of the 0909, with a black DLC blade and M390 or cpm-20cv steel....or a sprint run of the 0920, all blacked out. They did do a lot with the 0095, 0609 and the 0393 so I shouldn’t complain. They’ve had plenty of options recently. Love those 0095s.
Edit: maybe somethin serrated, besides the 0350 would be cool also

The bareknuckle looks like it will be a contender for a 0770 replacement, as I believe that knife will roll on bearings. I’ll bet if that knife sells well they will do another version with upgraded steel (like the M390 dividend and the link)

You're right, and I don't mind 14C28N as an EDC. I just hope it's as awesomely thin as the 0770CF.

You guys sure seem to love ZT. I already ordered my first one, but can you please explain exactly the brand is so desirable?
Premium materials, blade steels, great customer service, extremely smooth knives and just a feeling of “class” much above your average Kershaw. Kind of like comparing a Chevy to a Cadillac. Plus, they’re not crazy expensive like Hinderer or Emerson’s because they’re a big company, backed by an even bigger company. What knife did you order btw?

Yes! I'd be in for one too. Awesome little budget friendly knife that could use a good material upgrade.

I know right? Titanium liners to lighten it and a quality steel and IMO it would be a home run. It already feels great in hand and mine has fantastic action.

Yeah I am kinda sad they made a ZT atmos instead of a ZT concierge. The concierge looks to be an extremely compelling design. Maybe Sinkevitch didn’t want it to compete with the Shiro Cannabis?

Could be, I couldn't guess at the thought process or behind the scenes maneuvering behind which designs they decide to use for ZT vs Kershaw.

In any case, the Concierge feels very much like a baby 0454 to me in hand than the 0450 does. If they ever did do a ZT version I know I'd be pre-ordering it . . .

I guess this is turning into and I'd like to see ...….make an updated 0560/0561 with the things they've learned from making other knives like the 0562.

Imho the first gen 560/1s were amongnthe finest knives zt has ever produced. The first gens lacked the lockbar insert but had a majorly skeletonized steel liner under the composite scale. ZT has actually stopped skeletonizing their steel liners after the first gen of 560s (the second gen with the lockbar insert did not have skeletonization) and now uses a large flat steel plate which moisture has a habit of getting stuck between it and the scale.

Ontop of that even the ti side of the 560 was deeply skeletonized providing a cumulative huge decrease in weight. The only thing ZT could really add to those gen 1 560s to improve them would be a more modern snappier detent. I’m not even sure a lockbar insert is needed as the original 560s seemed to have fine long wearing lockup without them.

Well, if they made an 0450BWCF, I'd buy a couple, I think. I love the 0450CF, and I really love ZT's BlackWash finish.

their otf....that never made it past a proto......
