ZT needs to make...

I guess this is turning into and I'd like to see ...….make an updated 0560/0561 with the things they've learned from making other knives like the 0562.

Why? My 0561 is just as good as if not better than the best of the five 0562/0562cf that I have/had in terms of fit and finish, flipping action, lockup, detent strength, etc etc.

ZT needs to make...

... A renewed effort to create a
presence here on the forum. Closed up the subforum in 2013, and they get more free press here on BFC than any other brand I can think of. I wasn't around back then, but understand there were issues with their mod. A lot can change in 5 years... I'd love an active KAI subforum.*

*Edit for clarification: Not crapping on KAI at all. If anything it's the opposite. I love their products and I'd love for them to have an active presence rather than simply being discussed by the
membership with no input from them.

Not to derail the thread, but... There was much more to it than "issues with their mod." Let's just say that it was a combination of Mr. Welk not gladly suffering fools, and a surfeit of fools telling him/them/it how to run the company. It was a recipe for disaster, and eventually became one.

Sending a PM so as to avoid derailing the thread.

They should of used 14c28n like Kershaw used to for all their budget knives. I would buy one.

I think they have the capability to offer great front flippers

I like they have done the 0460 with a combination of manual+washers as IMO they have a great mastery of that
It is an interesting alternative to flippers/ball bearings
I would like to see more of both in their portfolio

I would like them to discontinued less models... make them sprint runs if you want to discontinued them after 1 year :(

Refine their strategy and moto... they do things because they can do it, not because it serve a purpose not a mission of the brand. It is refreshing sometime but as time goes it is becoming disturbing/confusing ie what means « built like a tank » with regards with almost 1/2 of their portfolio?

Work on offering different blade length... 3’´ and under, anise 3.5’´ ?

Thèse are just ideas
I like ZT a lost and their is no bashing / bad thinking their, just propositions

Still have my 0350, 0550, 0563, 0630, 0801s ... maybe 0460 and 0456 one day ;)
