Zt zero tolerance 0562cf problem!!!!

It should bug you and anybody else that would be in your situation. Please post the follow up.

Sorry bro not everybody has a 5 thousand dollar knofe collection. That was my knife I use.

Oh really?
Ya I did just now again to triple check I can't even tighten it anymore really. But believe me if I didn't have the g10 562 I probably wouldn't. These knives are amazing. The g10 version is a lot more broken in and it's just a buttery smooth yet crazy solid. The g10 has taken a beating so far too and has held up amazing. I'll admit I'm more nervous r to use the cf model as rough ha

I guess ridiculous reactions and fluffing the truth are tools you use as well. Enjoy the 2-3 week wait.

I'm not your brother, and I'm quite relaxed. If anyone needs to relax, it's you with the sale spam and irrational reactions to warranty errors.

I pray you find peace with the knife that gets returned to you.

I agree regarding the comment about contacting Kai about the warranty work recently completed. If it does not meet your satisfaction, especially your description of what was returned to you, it should go back. Matter of fact Kai should "flag" that knife to find out if and why their warranty service failed to satisfy...that is or should be a companies standard.

The wait is fairly normal for warranty work and actually a short period...though it may feel like a year. There are probably very few people in the warranty dept. and they are quite busy. They may pull someone off the "line" when there are enough warranty knives needing attention or there may be a dedicated person. I'd rather wait an extra week and get the knife back the way it should be than a rush job.

Commenting on our experiences with a knife purchase, good or bad, how the company handled a problem, good or bad, are some of the things that make forums like this so important. Talking about a negative experience is important...especially when dropping more than a couple of bucks for the item. The forums are a bit of reality and it is not always unicorns spewing rainbow farts...sometimes they smell bad.

Remember though QC does not check every item made...they look at a percentage and depending on failure/pass rate that percentage goes up or down...again it depends. So a knife, as all items manufactured, will slip through that would not pass QC "if" handled by QC but if it is not in the sampling taken it is not seen.

And ya I did have one. Doesn't mean I do now. My other knofe is an oso sweet that's been my daily carry. Great little knofe but can't compare to a Zt 562 imo

I've had several damascus blades replaced on the 1840DAM, and they all came back with no writing at all, anywhere on the blade... You will also notice that since the pocket clip on the ZT0562CF is fastened with only one screw, the other end of the clip has more ability to move up and down. You will see little bright rub marks in the stonewash finish, above the tip of the pocket clip, where the bottom of the clip touches the frame, just above the frame lock. When I'm flipping mine open, my little finger is using the end of the pocket clip for leverage.

Ya I know what u mean on the 562. Your finger linda land in the pocket clip. I took my pocket clip out and turned it counter clockwise just a tad so that when I squeeze the clip as I flip it opens the pressure is all on the top part of the frame above the lockbar. It stayed there for its time being too

I think the ZT0562CF is a great flipper, but I can't recall if any other ZT, or Kershaw knives, have only one screw holding the pocket clip on.
