If I get one I would swap the hardware with you if that's what you mean. I think the blackwash would look good with the blue and bronze would look good on the working finish as well. But I prefer blue and then I would have one of each but both with blue hardware.
 
Some people are trying to elicit that exact response you guys are giving to their inflammatory comments. Nothing wrong with sticking by your brand but let them spout their ramblings. Kershaw and ZT certainly stand tall on their own merits.

I really do want a 0392, but the more I think about it the more I don't care about it. First of all the stress of actually being able to purchase one is rediculous. Second I'd need to sell more than a few knives in order to get the cash for it. And third I hate limited edition knives because it truly stinks for anyone that misses out on them. I will never pay secondary prices on any limited ZT they are completely absurd.

Sorry if I sound like I'm complaining, but it just sucks to miss out on all of the amazing limited editions. I really do hope they make a production version of the 0392 because I don't care so much about materials and looks I just think it's an amazing design.

The secondary markup has settled a lot on the first 0392s. Its still above MSRP but no one is paying double price or anything close to it. You do still have to get lucky to land it retail, but if you really want one it can be had.

It is fun to read though. If I didn't know any better I would think this was a ZT sub forum instead of General.

A lot of fuss over a knife that will just be flipped or fondled in a man-cave.

If I had a 0392 I would carry and use it there is no other reason to have a knife for me anyway.

I can understand how you feel, I never managed to get a 0888 Max and my pics of it are probably the most well known on the internet. The knife still haunts me. Since you've resigned yourself to not getting an 0392 anyway, why not give snagging one a try, enjoy the hunt. If you don't get one, no big deal, you weren't expecting to get one anyway. If you do, you'll feel like you hit the lottery.

Usually your remarks are quite comedic when it comes to asinine statements. Not sure what I was hoping for just figured it would be something off the wall. I'm fully aware all those knives are fully produced by now. Oh well. I apologize for fishing.
 
I'm still undecided if I'll try for this one. I missed out on the last one which I like the looks of more. I've got a 0562 which craves my ZT flipper fix for now.
 
I have to agree the first one is the better looking of the two, reminds me of a Sebenza on steroids

I think this time around will be better. First, $400 isn't exactly a small amount of money. Second, people that got one last time has to justify really hard to pick up another similar knife. Third, not everyone is into the Blackwash.
Of course it will still sell out, but I think there is a better chance to pick this one up.
