Zero Tolerance is debuting a ZT0392 Wharncliffe blade at the Blade Show. Just saw it on Facebook.

Meh, that is only OK to me. These 0392 offerings are cool (i have the 1st one) but if they keep spitting these out over and over again, i think it will lose its prestige.

I would prefer that they create new knives each year like they did for the past few years with releases like the 0777, 0888, 0801cf, 0454, etc, instead of using a similar design but changing only a few things.

To be fair, they are coming out with new styles, as well. If I recall, they are not submitting the WC version for any of the awards. Though I'm not there.

Most appealing 0392 for me.

Good Lord that tip is pointy! I would probably drop it and break the tip off:eek:

I like the filler tab, it appears to be made of copper. It doesn't fit the overall design, but it's still cool. It would flow better with copper colored hardware imo. It's weird they chose only 1 spot to be made with copper.

That is somewhat cool. But, depends on the price point. At $400 +/- still not sure if i would be a buyer, but it does look cool none the less.

The original 0392 is still one of my favorites. When the blackwash and bronze came out, I had to fight the impulse... too similar to the 0392, and too expensive to buy identical knives on the basis of different coloring. This one doesn't seem like the same knife. A wicked looking hollow-ground blade and subtle touches... really like the copper filler, and I agree, a bit more copper would be cool; in fact, I wonder if it has the Hinderer copper standoffs? I wouldn't be surprised. Those crafty bastards. I already want in on the RJ Martin 0606 as well; regardless of the critics, it looks pretty damn nice to me.

I really dig that blade shape, I hope ZT leaves time for me to save up cash between all of these new limited designs.

I was hoping for more new Kershaw designs at better price points...... my Kershaw Launch 1 at 95 bucks with CPM154 is just an incredible bang for your buck and I can't justify spending 400+ on these new releases. my comfort zone on ZT knives is 200-250 and even then it's really hard to drop it now that there are better deals. My 0562CF is my favorite ZT I own nd I even purchased a back up for it.

Visually the knife doesn't do it for me. When I heard*Wharncliffe I hoped for more of a modified Sebenza *Wharncliffe style blade. Also that blade would look much better either all blackwashed or stonewashed. ZT is also starting to price themselves out of my comfort zone.

Mike

I really wish Zero Tolerance would release something analogous to this as full production knife.

I agree, it looks like a box cutter made for a King.

At least the tip is uncoated so you can grind the back of the blade to match the new point, if it is damaged through use :D
