Zt560 or Domino

Lol, I own all different brands but the Spydies seemed to have taken over

This serves to prove that true wisdom is achieved with experience.

Are you going to carry this in your pocket to work in an office? Get the Domino.
Is your office... the woods or construction or military or law enforcement? Get the 0560.

I'd put in Spyderco Southard and Zero Tolerance 0801 in there as well. So, out of the four of them I'd take the Southard, 0801 and Domino in that order for great flipping action.

I own Both, and Both are awesome , domino flips much better than the 560, f&f is better on the domino.
But actually i'm carrying the 560 much more than the Domino. Why you might ask?
Well, i like big Knives, and even if i dont are using them hard, it feels better..
But maybe i'm thinking that the none overbuilt Knives is made out of glass and Will break if i use it? Thats maybe Why i'm not carrying Anything but My 560 and My Vic Super Tinker.. Love the domino though

I vote 560-1. I was surprised how light it was when I first handled it. It will never be as "slicey" as the spyderco but it will take any abuse you can throw at it. You can also take it apart without voiding the warranty if you prefer to see how your knives work and like to clean them yourself.

I have a 561 and a Southard, and prefer the Southard but not by a whole lot. Mainly because of the blade steel and Brad's designs are just fantastic. I took a look at the Domino and don't think it has the deep design background like the Southard and 560s. But I haven't owned one so might warm up to it. I have one knife that beats out the Southard, but it's a custom Curtiss F3.

I've owned both. But the one I still own is the Domino.

Granted, I also own a Millie, multiple SMFs, and more. But the Domino is certainly an incredible blade for that particular size and price.

I've owned both and ended up selling the ZT. Just too big for my tastes.
I wouldn't call the domino a light duty knife though. Yes the 560 has a thicker spine but I would love to see someone try and break a domino without abusing it. That knife is a tank. If you intend on using your knife as a prybar, then the 560 would probably hold up better.

I now have both, but the Domino is new.
Loving it so much but only had it since the weekend.
Two different knives, but I will say that although the 0560 is bigger, it carries very well for it's size.
Glad I own both.
Cheers

Buy both, it is a hard decision between those two, I like the big beefy feel of the 0560 and it looks great, but you can not argue with the looks and style of the Domino either. Both flippers but I will say that I think the 560 flips better if that is what you are looking at.

It may come down to personal preference. I'm Not crazy about ZT, sold the Southard, kept the Domino.
Don't get me wrong, the Southard is a sweet knife but after getting a Domino it felt awkward.
The Domino feels very natural in my hand, also carries and deploys well.

Traded my 560 for a domino, I am extremely glad I did. If I need a big knife to beat on I get out the fixed blade.

I personally would go with the 0560CBCF. I recently got one in a trade and it has knocked my sebenza out of my pocket.

My experience with my 0561 is its a good feeling knife in hand, the elmax SUCKS at edge retention. I'd put my eggs in the domino basket.

Depends , are you going up actually use or just play with it , the zt is a far Bette choice if for a knife your going to be used , who cares if its a spyderco fact is the domino was made to look pretty not to be used

0560 flips better than the Domino? In what way?

I own both knives.
I suffered a month of carrying the 561 before I finally called it quits. For me, it's not a "hard use" knife, it's a hard to use knife. Any cutting task lasting longer than five mins without gloves will leave you with the text book definition of hotspot. The edge was pretty much a pain in the ass. I am a mechanic, so I used the knife for cardboard, rubber, small gauge wire, some scraping. The edge didn't hold up well in those uses. The steel was a pain to sharpen. I use a DMT for shaping and Naniwa's for the rest of the progression. I had problems with the lock about a week after I started carrying it. The liner started sticking to the point where it would take both hands to release. I sharpied it, that lasts a day or so. I really wanted to like the knife, but as a user, it's just terrible.
The Domino has been in my pocket now for a couple of weeks. I use it for the exact same thing as the 0561. So far it's better in every way than the 0561.
Bottom line. 0561 great mall ninja knife. Domino great knife to actually use.

Cheers

0561 sound great on everything, Elmax, Hinderer, 3D machined Ti etc. But it just doesn't any great as it should IMO.
