ZT562 vs 566

For carry I'd suggest the G10/Elmax version of the 0562. It feels very slim and light in pocket, flips like a dream and has great ergos. I've seen the G10 version go for around $150-160 on the exchange. I'm not a big fan of assisted knives so that would be a major strike against the 0566 right away.

I have a BM 950 Rift and like it a lot, but the 0562 would probably win pocket space over it most of the time.
 
I have the 561 & 566, but still waiting on the 562. For myself, I really like the KVT vs assisted. But the suggestion above for the 770CF is a good one. For regular daily carry it's really is a winner in weight aspect (while still being quite sturdy). My son carries the 566 for his scouting activities. It had a pretty stiff detent at first, but a little breaking in and it's now perfect. Rather have it stiff than too loose. I just bought another 770CF for a friend who admired mine so much, he could never stop playing with it. And I've got a dozen ZT's that he could have chosen from. In fact I just gave it to him yesterday, and he couldn't wipe the crazy smile off his face.
 
Bflying, I need friends like you. Most of my friends do not carry knives and the ones that do carry pretty basic (Walmartjunk) knives. I do have a few friends that carry good stuff, but they are the exceptions. Until just a couple of years ago, I was making do just like them. As time goes on, I am gradually converting them. Their wives hate me!
